Shambala Country house B & B is near Macerata and within walking distance of the Beautiful Medieval village of San Ginesio. It is set amidst the rolling hills in the unspoilt region of Le Marche, 30 minutes from the amazing Sibillini Mountains and Lake Fiastra. This part of Italy is mostly untouched by the ravages of tourism. The village is full of monuments and artistic works and its origins date back to the Roman Empire. It is an Ideal location for walkers, hikers, a place to unwind & de-stress, Weddings, Celebrations and sightseeng.
Shambala Country House offers peace, elegance & quiet luxury set in 8 acres of land. The delightful accommodation is open to just 10 guests, no children under 16 yrs of age are accepted. Shambala offers a profesional, friendly service from its experienced staff.
No smoking is permitted in any of the rooms, but guests are allowed smoke outside the buildings.
Shambala has its own fruit trees & vegetable garden, all organic and the ingredients are used in the restaurant.
Set in the grounds there is a large swimming pool with hydromassage, were you can sit and gaze across at the stunning views of the Sibillini mountains. There are Umbrellas and plenty of Sunloungers around the pool were you can relax in the Italian Sunshine. At the front of the house and uner the trees around the grounds there are plenty of shaded areas to be found. There is an outside dining area in the summer months "weather permitting " to enjoy ecellent food and wine as you breath in the pure mountain air and look out at the breathtaking scenery.
Shambala has a small outside gym which guests can use during the summer months. Guests can also use the pyramid for meditaion.

San Ginesio is 680 meters above sea level and only 25 minutes from the Ski slopes. San Ginesio is an improtant centre for artistic and historical interest. A short drive away are the towns of Toentino, Macerata. Shambala is based within 15 -20 minutes of Gualdo, Sarnano, Sant Angelo in Pontano,Loro Piceno & Urbisaglia with its Roman ruins.
There are Local markets ito visit in the surrounding villages on different days of the week. During the months of July & August there are lots of open air festivals & events being held.
San Ginesio area
In San Ginesio you can visit the Theatre which has been now fully restored to its original beauty, there are also events held at the Theatre on a reguar basis. The Medieval Churches, Pilgrims hospital & Picture Gallery in San Ginesio are also places to be visited.
Trips to Urbisaglia Roman Ruins,Assisi, Frassasi Caves,Castelllucio, Sibillini Mountains, Loreto, the coast & to many more places of interest can be arranged. For those interested in wine tasting a trip to our local cantina 15 mins away can be organized. Le Marche is a great place for a gastronomic experience, to taste all the local wines, cheeses & salami's.

Fly to Ancona - Shambala Country House & Spa is only 1hr 10 mins away from Ancona airport.
Cheap flights are available with www.ryanair.com to Ancona, Pescara, Rimmini, Bologna & Rome.
Car hire is available from Hertz car hire & Avis car hire.
Local buses run from the top of our road to the nearby towns & villages.
We run a taxi transfer service to and from Ancona Airport & Civitanova station for clients who do not wish to drive.

Further details indoors: The Country House has 6 bedrooms which have adjoining bathrooms. All the rooms have free Wi-Fi access and are fully heated. Each room has towels, bathrobes, showergel/shampoo, showercaps, spa slippers, tea/coffee facilities, Mini Bar, TV, CD/radio as well as a professional hairdryer. There is an iron & ironing & board available for guests to use. The Holistic & Wellbeing Spa at Shambala specializes in some of the latest Facial & Massage treatments. The restaurant serves some mouth-watering dishes, bursting with flavour. All the food is cooked with fresh local ingredients; there is an excellent selection of both delicious local & regional wines.
