Home description

Close to the medieval, hilltop town of San Ginesio and within easy reach of Sarnano, Tolentino, Gualdo and Macerata.

Villa Sibillini Country house offers warm hospitality, great showers, comfortable spacious rooms and great views across the Marche countryside. This is a perfect place for a break with family or friends.

Once an old farmhouse, Villa Sibillini has been transformed into and nine bedroom country house with spacious gardens and pool overlooking the stunning Sibillini Mountains.

This is a place to unwind and relax, enjoy the flavours of Le Marche and make the most of the region that boasts that it is 'The whole of Italy in one region'. We'll happily recommend our favourite beach resorts, walks in the mountains, places to visit and great restaurants, as well as where the find the best designer bargains.

If you are looking for more active pursuits, there's white water rafting, climbing and diving, a round of Golf at Numana or maybe a game of tennis nearby.

All in all there is something for everyone here, all you have to do is book the flights and we'll take care of the rest. If you prefer not to drive we can organise excursions and transfers in our own mini bus, or a chauffeur service for smaller parties.

If you are thinking of getting married in Italy, we can organise everything, and you will be surprised to know that prices are much lower than the UK. Email for more info

The Marche / Abruzzo / Marche region

Le Marche pronounced 'Markay' translates into English as 'the Marches' and is set on the eastern side of central Italy between the Adriatic Sea and the high Apennine mountains and is unspoilt, undiscovered and much of it remains untouched by the ravages of mass tourism. Travellers who are looking for the unspoilt Italy will truly appreciate the scenery and culture of Le Marche, steeped in history with many archaeological sites and ancient towns that are being restored.

The region has much for you to explore, especially the local area and you must experience the crystal clear waters of Lake Fiastra set amongst the mountains - discover the open air opera theatre in Macerata, the Roman amphitheatre in Urbisaglia or take a trip to Rome, Perugia or Assissi. If you’d like a more active break there is the opportunity to ski/snowboard from Jan to March, try your hand at climbing, walking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, motorcross, quad bikes or head for the Adriatic and various watersports – wind or kite surfing.

San Ginesio area

Discover the nearby delightful hilltop, medieval town of San Ginesio, with walls and gateways intact, designated a place of historic interest and referred to by La Repubblica national newspaper as “Un piccolo borgo delizioso” a delicious little place. In the piazza you can watch the world go by, enjoy the locals parading - there’s even a battle re-enactment and the incredible spectacle of the Pallio on August 15 th, with medieval costumes, jousting and feasting.

We are close to Sarnano with its ‘Centro Storico’ an amazing restored old town set on the round, there’s Macerata with its open air opera theatre offering the best in Italian Opera from July to August and the main city of Ancona with its historic port, leper colony and theatre, just over an hour away. There’s fabulous restaurants serving everything from local meats to the freshest seafoods and if you are brave enough a seven course set meal!

How to get there

We are situated between Pescara and Ancona airports. Ryan Air fly in to both and offer a daily service from Stansted to Ancona (1.5 hours) and Stansted to Pescara (2 hours). There is also a service from East Midlands to Rimini which is around 2.5 hours.

Bologna and Rome are just a 3 hour drive and Luftansa also fly from Dublin

Once at the airport you can pick up a hire car from Hertz or Avis and drive to us (your journey should take you 1.5 hours from Ancona and 2 hours from Pescara).
