Torre 2 is one of 4 apartments in the farmhouse, and has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom as well as a shared pool.
The apartment has been restored and furnished in a traditional Tuscan style and meets your every need. There are beautiful views overlooking Siena, Florence and of course San Gimignano, and there is also a garden bursting with the lovely aromas of juniper and rosemary trees where you can sit out in the sun.
A perfect rural retreat for families, but close enough to the main Tuscan cities for those exciting day trips.

This ground floor flat is located inside the farmhouse, with a large and bright living room with various sofas and satellite TV, a fully functional kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven and all the necessary utensils to prepare typical Tuscan dishes.
The décor is very warm and welcoming. There are 2 large bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) a bathroom with a shower cubicle and toilet.
The sofa bed can also sleep two more people, at a weekly cost of 50 euros per person.

Outside there is a garden area with table, chairs, garden umbrella, deckchairs and barbecue. There is also a large shared pool where you can cool off and relax and enjoy the superb view of the Tuscan hills.

The Tuscany / Siena Province region
Tuscany is certainly one of the richest European regions in rural tourist resources: landscape, nature, agriculture, buildings, history, art and culture.
Visit the famous leaning tower of Pisa, or experience the Duomo, the Belvedere, and Ponte Vecchio in Florence, where the modern Italian language was born. Enjoy wine-tasting in Chianti, walking in the green mountains in summer, lazing on the beach or simply sampling the delights of Italian cuisine.
The San Gimignano area
San Gimignano rises on a hill (334m high) dominating the Elsa Valley with its towers. Once the seat of a small Etruscan village of the Hellenistic period (200-300 BC) it began its life as a town in the 10th century taking its name from the Holy Bishop of Modena, St. Gimignano, who is said to have saved the village from the barbarian hordes.
The construction of the towers dates back to the 11th and 13th centuries. The architecture of the city was influenced by Pisa, Siena and Florence. There are 14th century paintings of the Sienese School to be seen and 15th century paintings of the Florentine School, as well as the the Duomo or Collegiate Church, the People's Palace: the Museum of Sacred Art, and the Church of St Agostino.
-The area is ideal for short walks or bike rides (road or mountain bikes), trekking, horse-riding.
-Around the nearby medieval town of San Gimignano there are also some beauty spas.
The farm itself has an important role in the cultivation of wine and olive groves.

From Florence:
Leave the motorway at Firenze Certosa and take the freeway Florence-Siena in the direction of Siena, leave at Poggibonsi (North or South) and carry on to San Gimignano. Once you leave, continue for about 4 km on the provincial road n. 1, you will find the fork for Cortennano on your right: after about 3 km you
will find another fork with the sign “Torre Prima” on your right, from this point the farmhouse is
500m.
