From the owner

Wonderful renovated stone cottage in the historical village "Borgo di Mummialla" in the countryside between S. Gimignano and Volterra. Originally in the village there were ancient Roman Baths.

The house is a typical tuscan cottage, it is surrounded with a big private garden just near to the woods. The house has a lovely bedroom with walk-in closet, a living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and TV, a large open space kitchen with stone fireplace and one beautiful bathroom. It has air conditioning and free wi-fi connection.
There is a BBQ and an area to eat outside with garden furniture included deckchairs; so you can have a very relaxing lunch or breakfast.
There is also a small vegetable garden so you can pick the good vegetables from it.

At the disposal of the guests of "Borgo Mummialla" free parking and an unique biodesign infinity shared outdoor pool which allow you to enjoy in total relaxation the landscape and the sight of the magnificent view of the Etruscan city of Volterra. In the pool there is a water massage area and the are beds around the pool.

Pets are not allowed. Guests cannot smoking in the house.
We are at your disposal for any eventuality.

Il Corbezzolo being just a few kilometres from S. Gimignano is an ideal base for your enjoyable excursions in the heart of Tuscany (Volterra, Siena, Firenze, Certaldo, Chianti).
You can also visit the nearby farm Poggio di Camporbiano where you can find the organic products obtained only from the crops and the animals of the farm, with the method of biodynamic agricolture.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Melania (the owner) a message.

If Melania (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
