"La Cantina" is part (25 sq.m. room with its bathroom) of a typical cottage in the countryside, renovated in traditional style, situated at ground floor, very comfortable, from the windows you can enjoy a splendid view directly over San Gimignano and its towers.

The town increased in wealth and developed greatly during the Middle Ages thanks to the "Via Francigena" the trading and pilgrim's route that crossed it.
