About the home

This apartment is for 2/4 people and is made up of two spacious rooms with double bed, two bathrooms with shower, a large and fully equipped kitchen/dining room and an outdoor area paved with terracotta tiles like the yards of old country farmhouses, offering a fabulous view of San Gimignano and Certaldo under the shade of an olive tree. All the rooms have the characteristic ceilings of old Tuscan farmhouses, made of terracotta and wooden beams.

Road directions: Arriving from FLORENCE or SIENA - Firenze-Siena highway, Poggibonsi Nord exit, following signs for San Gimignano. After about 1.5 km turn right towards Cusona, Ulignano. At Ulignano turn right towards Certaldo, turning left at the first junction and heading for Santa Maria-San Benedetto.

“great place” my husband and i stayed for 3 nights at podere magione at july 2012. the location is on the hill with amazing views, peaceful. the apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable, cool and pleasant in spite of the outside heat. the owner, jianna, was amazing, very nice and helpful with tips about what to see and do. her family was very nice to share with us tomatoes from their garden and wine from their winery. we enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the place.

We inform you that we open our activity on 21st of March of every year and we close on 31st of October; after this period we re-open, for about one week, from 26th of December to 3rd of January, exactly the Christmas period and the New Year.

-Therefore, we inform you that, it is possible in bedroom "olivo" to add a single bed for child till 12 years old at 12,00 euro per night.

-On the above prices we add 40,00 euro for cleaning.

-The heating from March plus all April and, from 1st of October till end of October plus the week at the end of December, begining of January must be payed separate and it's considered as consumption.

-Child till 2 years old doesn't pay.

-Therefore, from this season there is a new tax called "tourist tax" that costs euro 1,50 per person from 12 years old, per night up to 10 nights, from the 11th night ahead no more tourist tax.

-We are a very family agriturismo, not big so, we prefere to have payment cash.

-We inform you that in the Farm House you will have the laundry for free and every room has the mosquito net.
