Attractions: San Francisco is known for it's cable cars, Chinatown, Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, and the Metreon. The Metreon is a technology oriented complex with scientific/high tech exhibits, movie theater, roller skating and video games. It's a great day trip for families and is readily accessible by car or public transportation. Public transportation stops just around the corner from our home and provides access to all San Francisco has to offer for those who do not want to drive. SBC park is located in the downtown area, it is home to the San Francisco Giants, but occasionally hosts concerts depending upon the season. Free concerts are held in Golden Gate Park and Stern Grove, usually on the weekend.
