Casa Sparviero B is a characteristic one-story apartment that covers the entire ground floor of a villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps four people. From Casa Sparviero B you will enjoy a marvelous view of the Tuscan hills and of the vineyards. Casa Sparviero B is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private patio, a shared garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from the medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, where you will find restaurants and a grocery store.

Casa Sparviero B is located on the ground floor.

To stay at Casa Sparviero B you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a parking lot. Please note that access to Casa Sparviero B is along an 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road. Casa Sparviero B is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. Villa Sparviero is on a farm that produces wine and olive oil. You'll be on the green slopes of the rolling hills, where the hilltop offers views of the ancient medieval village of San Donato in Poggio. You'll be surrounded by Tuscany's typical panorama: rows staked with grapevines which produce the famous Chianti wine, green olive groves and woods.

The farm is comprised of a building where the owners live and a separate villa, which dates to the 1600s and has been restored for travelers. The villa is divided into two apartments: Casa Sparviero A occupies the entire upper floor while Casa Sparviero B is laid out on the entire ground floor. The two apartments have seaparate, independent entrances. The guests have a beautiful swimming pool and garden available for their use.

The kind owners can organize dinners and Tuscan cooking classes. Breakfast can be served on request. In spring you can participate in the lavander harvest and in autumn you can help with the grape harvest and the olive picking, if you'd like.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, from 1.50 meter (5 feet) to 2.50 meters (8 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. It is partly shaded by a wood roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the surrounding vineyards and of the hills. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Garden

The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a fascinating view of the valley and of the vineyards. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.

Laundry room

You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).  Patio

The patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof and by trees. It is equipped with a table, chairs and two deck chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a nice view of the Tuscan countryside and of the hills.

Living Room

The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house. The furnishings include a sofa. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door.

Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the patio. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
