Featuring a beautiful log effect gas fireplace in the open-plan living/dining room, Windsong Cove is set in a secure & private complex where you can relax or perhaps even enjoy 'al-fresco' dinining with the many 'built-in' BBQs available by the poolside after a day's exploring.
The property has two large double bedrooms, additional small/bonus room which can be used as another bedroom or private living room, two spacious bathrooms -one of which is en-suite, lovely high ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, garage parking for 1 car plus secure guest parking. The 2 large covered balconies look onto the gardens. It is within 10 min walk to the beach & Calrsbad Villiage, close to lake which offers watersports and Hwy 5 which makes the flat an ideal base for touring southern California.

The California region
Some of the endless So Californian attractions!: San Diego, the home of the famous Padres Baseball team, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Harbour, Gaslamp Quarter, Birch Aquarium at Scripps are about 40 minute’s drive. San Diego Harbour Excursion and the world famous Birch Aquarium at Scripps offers California Gray Whale watching adventure tours which are fully narrated. The 3 1/2 hour adventure allows close-up views of the mammoth California Gray Whale. Approximately 20,000 gray whales pass San Diego in their 10,000 mile annual migration from the Bering Sea to Baja California. You may also see dolphins, sea lions, and much more. These tours are also available from Oceanside. Other cruises/tours available are on the USS Midway.
Newport Beach, Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm are only about 1 hour’s drive north depending on traffic. Still within driving distance are the famous Universal Studios, Hollywood and the Temecula Valley wineries which offer wine tours. Mexico is only 1 1/2 hrs drive south.

Some of the great attractions for Carlsbad are: its beautiful beaches and brilliant sunsets which offer activities from swimming, surfing, boating, kayaking, boogie boarding or simply relaxing and watching the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific Ocean: the famous factory shopping outlets, World famous golf courses such as Aviara, La Costa and Torrey Pines are minutes away. Watersports available nearby, wonderful restaurants and Carlsbad's close proximity to various attractions include Legoland, Hot Air Balloon Adventure and the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Carlsbad is a great place to enjoy without the need to go to other places and is a favourite destination of many foreign visitors. The Carlsbad train station is about 1/2 mile from the flat with direct services to Anaheim, San Diego, Los Angeles and other towns.
How to get there
LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) about 72 miles from Carlsbad, offers direct flights from the UK while San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field), only about 25.7 miles, which already has flights to the UK will start their non-stop flights with Zoom Airlines (buget airline) from London Gatwick from summer 2008. Car hire is available from both of those airports.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with toilet, tub with attached showerhead & large vanity housing two sinks. It also has direct access to a private balcony with steps leading straight to the garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The other balcony also has steps leading down directly to the garden. The family bathroom has toilet, sink and walk-in shower with two showerheads.. The second double bedroom has an adjoining room which can be used as additional bedroom with two put-me-ups - ideal for families with children or as private living room and a double sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, oven, hob/cooker, fridge/freezer, kitchen utensils and cutlery. There are fitted cupboards in the entrance hall giving more storage if needed.

or less and refundable security deposit of $200 (which is returned within 2 weeks after check-out provided the flat is returned in the same condition as found and no breakages occurred during your stay).

PAYMENT. A non-returnable deposit of 30% is required on booking. The balance shall be payable 6 weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
