The apartment benefits from its own private pool from which you have stunning views, furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Apartment La Ginestra, perfect solution for families with children, but also for 2 couples of friends.

Apartment La Ginestra (60 sqm) is on the first floor of a newly restored Tuscan house. It consists of a living/dining room with open fireplace and satellite-TV, 1 double bedroom. 1 room with 2 beds. In particular cases an additional bed may be added in another small room. The well equipped kitchen offers a large dining table and all necessary appliances (oven, deep freezer, coffee machine, etc.). The apartment has a Shower/bidet/WC + washing machine.

Outdoors guests enjoy the use of a fully-equipped table area in the courtyard for open-air dining. The large garden which surrounds the swimming pool (x 10 m, depth 150 - 150 cm, 19.05.-30.09) is equipped with garden furniture, outside shower and barbecue, and offers the possibility of relaxing in the shadow of old olive trees or around the pool.

From here you can enjoy an amazing view on an uncontaminated green valley and admire the Chianti Classico landscape with olive trees, woods and vineyards. At guests disposal there is also a covered parking lot.

The San Casciano Val di Pesa / Mercatale area

The Chianti region is located fairly centrally in Tuscany and is an easy day trip from Cortona, Florence, Siena, or most any part of the provincia. There are breathtaking views from the winding roads (with many sharp curves). Great for walking or biking tours.

Long known as one of the principal wine regions of Italy (in fact, defined as the first such zone in the world by a decree of the Grand Duke Cosimo III de'Medici in 1716) and long connected with the familiar rounded-bottom glass flasks bound in straw. Barone Bettino Ricasoli of Castello Brolio created the formula in the mid-1800s for the Chianti vintage in which the majority of the grapes are Sangiovese with Canaiolo, Trebbiano, and Malvasia to create a lighter wine; a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon is sometimes included. Bottles with the "gallo nero" or "black rooster" are from the central Chianti Classico vineyards.
