Fattoria Corzano e Paterno unites neighbouring properties acquired from the historic Florentine families, the Machiavelli and Niccolini. Three distinct sectors complement each other: wine and oil, stables for sheep for artisanal cheese production and agriturismo.

The AGRITURISMO is comprised of four large houses positioned in pristine locations amid cypresses, olive groves and vineyards, views that have escaped the passage of time. Their restoration has maintained, with the exception of modern kitchens and baths, the original structures of beamed ceilings, open sit-in fireplaces and large, airy rooms.  Situated in this classic Tuscan landscape, near fields of our grazing sheep, the houses overlook the verdant valley that lies between the two distinctive hills of the farm.

FALLOCCHIO is a spacious house divided into five large apartments with one or two bedrooms, kitchenette, living room, bathroom with bath and shower. In the restoration of the house, the beamed ceilings and large rooms have been preserved. On the ground floor there is a large and well-equipped kitchen with fireplace available for communal use. The house is surrounded by a garden with a covered patio and barbeque and views across the surrounding valleys. Pool

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is one of Italy's best-loved regions. It combines a beautiful countryside reminiscent of the landscapes of Renaissance masterpieces, a rich artistic heritage including exquisite art and architecture, a glorious history, excellent wines and delicious food.

Set down between the blue-green Apenines and the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea, Tuscany is the joyful heart and soul of the ancient Etruscan civilisation which lives on in every city, town and village

Tuscany is a charmed land. Unrivaled as the cradle of art, Toscana, where the Renaissance first began, is a region of ancient splendor and modern charm. From the largest cities to the smallest hamlets and most remote villages, you will find ancient chapels, hilltop castles, a hidden palace -- perhaps an ancient city nestled in the mountains. Each place has a treasure to show you

San Casciano in Val di Pesa

The Chianti area in Tuscany is one of the most beautiful in the whole region, as well as the most well-known and appreciated by visitors from across the world.

The borders of the Chianti region are not clearly defined but in general it extends over the provinces of Florence and Siena, covering all of the area between the two cities and extending to the east toward the Valdarno and to the west to the Val d'Elsa. The Chianti wine area extends further beyond the two cities, all around Florence and even toward Arezzo, Pistoia and Montepulciano.

You'll often find references to the "Florentine Chianti" and the "Sienese Chianti" to define the areas closest to one or the other city, but these often refer to a wine's origin within the Chianti region.

Territory

Chianti offers a unique landscape, with green, gentle hills covered with wide fields of vineyards and olive groves, small stone villages, characteristic parishes and countryside homes in stone.

The Chianti landscapes are so beautiful and particular that they inspire many photographs which then become postcards and calendars distributed across the globe.
