The Costa Maresme or "Barcelona Coast” is located along the Mediterranean just a few kilometres to the north of Barcelona city. The Maresme Coast´s geography is characterised by long sandy beaches from which the beautiful wooded hills rise from the sea.
Sant Andreu de Llavaneras is particularly a seaside village situated approx 30 km north of Barcelona and 50 km from Girona. It is the favourite destination for Spanish people. It is located near the beach with a famous yacht harbour "El Balis" but it also near the mountain where you can enjoy horse riding, cycling and hill walking. Moreover you have tennis courts, Golfs and Pitch&Putt. The village is known for its sporting events and big family holidays resort with young children.
San Andreu de Llavaneres area
Llavaneras is a relaxing place perfect for a tranquil holiday in one of the centres of tourim of Barcelona moreover than a agricole region with exclents wines, fruit and vegetable, specially peas and strawberry. 1. By Train: First to Barcelona/Sants, then in Sants the train to Maçanet/Massanes or Blanes, you arrive to station "Sant Andreu de Llavaneras" aprox. in 45min. 2. By car: From Barcelona you must drive to Girona C32 Motorway aprox. 35min. until exit num.105 "Sant Andreu de Llavaneras".
If you arrive from Girona airport 1. By Car: Motorway Ap-7 to Barcelona until exit Mataró C60, then you will find Girona C32 Motorway and you drive to exit 105 "Sant Andreu de Llavaneras" in aprox. 1hour
