Baan Banburee is an affordable luxury beach villa that has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and will sleep up to eight adults plus two children. The villa is beautifully decorated to reflect Thai/Balinese architecture and offers a peaceful and luxurious setting for your tropical island vacation. Lush vegetation surrounds the coconut tree-lined avenue surrounding the villa and there are stunning sea, beach and hill views from the second floor roof terrace. The villa has its own private swimming pool and the white sand of the beach is just a few strides down the private coconut grove avenue.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui (Ko or Kho Samui as it is sometimes spelt) is located in the Gulf of Thailand, approximately 700 kilometres south of Bangkok and 80 kilometres east of Surat Thani Province. It is known as “the Coconut Island” and is one of the most famous and popular attractions of Thailand. Samui is and island that measures about 20 km wide by 25 km long and has an area of approximately 250 square kilometres. It is the third largest island of Thailand after Phuket and Koh Chang (of Trat Province). The island has a mountainous interior with a predominantly low lying coastline. There is a 50-kilometre main ring road around the island and despite the fast pace of development, it has been able to maintain its charm and its classical image of a tropical beach resort fringed by coconut trees.

Koh Samui is part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang Thong national marine park. It is mainly covered in a tropical jungle with interesting tracks and trails over the interior that offer breathtaking views. The island climate is predominantly sunny with calm seas for most of the year but May and November are considered to be the wet seasons. The temperature is generally between 25°C and 35°C but sometimes rises above 40°C in April.

There are regular connections from Samui International Airport that give easy access to the rest of the world via Suvarnabhumi , the new Bangkok International Airport. There are also direct flights from Samui to Phuket, Pattaya, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

The Samui Beach Village area

Samui Beach Village is set on Nahai Beach - an unspoilt stretch of sandy beach on the south east coast of Koh Samui. The villa layout has been thoughtfully merged into an avenue of coconut palms and is set in amongst mature tropical gardens. Each villa is unique and provides modern facilities in a traditional setting which is ideal for your villa vacation holiday. These properties are possibly some of the best privately owned group of villas samui has to offer. All villas have their own pools and gardens and are set in beautiful surroundings enabling guests to relax and enjoy a tropical lifestyle from the moment they arrive.

Koh Samui offers a wide variety of accommodation, activities and facilities. Whilst the island is renowned for its Tropical Beaches, Coconut Palms, Spa Facilities, Exotic Night life, Friendly People and its amazing Choice of Restaurants it also caters for the Adventure Enthusiasts; these are just some of the activities that are available: Snorkelling, Scuba Diving, Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Tennis, Kite Boarding, Sailing, Jungle Safari, Elephant Trekking, Treetop Cable Riding, Quadbiking; Go-kart Racing; Horse Riding, Thai Boxing, Big Game Fishing, Golfing and lots more. There are also regular boat and ferry trips to nearby islands including the unspoilt national Ang Thong marine park, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum.

For the golf enthusiasts there is the Santaburi 18-hole championship golf course, two nine-hole golf courses and several golf driving ranges, one of which is just down the road in Lamai.

Whilst you are on holiday you may prefer a more relaxing form of enjoyment. There are Thai Cooking and Massage Courses and World Class Spas, Luxury Retreats, Health and Beauty centres. Samui Ridgeway Estate Spa and Retreat is one such luxury sanctuary. It is nestled on the mountain top overlooking Thong Krut. Shopping and night entertainment are available about 10 minutes away in Lamai and 25 minutes away in Chaweng. These centres are close enough to be convenient but far enough away to allow a peaceful night’s sleep!

There are also many restaurants and beach bars on the island that offer local, fusion and international cuisine and drinks that would be hard to match anywhere in the world.

If all of the above are not enough there are still other attractions such as the Aquarium and Tiger Zoo, Butterfly Farm, Snake Farm, Crocodile Shows, Monkey Training Shows, Cultural Centres and Waterfalls. Whilst all of this may sound exhausting most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the clear turquoise waters.

With unspoiled beaches in the relatively undeveloped south-eastern coast, Samui Beach Village has been created amid a profusion of coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens.
Samui Beach Village is set along a beautiful stretch of unspoilt beach. The white sandy beach stretches out in front of the villa complex, with magnificent views to the north and south of Samui. The large stretches of sand are ideal for families and there are small pools where it is safe for children to play. Being away from the busy Samui tourist areas, the beach is always quiet with at the most a handful of tourists and a few fishermen. During the winter months the beach with its shallow sandy lagoon forms an inviting location for kite boarding.
Convenient for Koh Samui's many attractions, Samui Beach Village is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.
You are only ten minutes away from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng and Samui's top golf course, and 35 minutes from the airport, so you are never far from the action. While there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife and other activities, you will still feel you are on your own tropical island paradise.
Samui itself is also home to excellent medical care, and there are hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all round the island. Together with all the various Thai health spas, many of which are within a short distance of Samui Beach Village, all your health care needs can be satisfied.
