It is just 50 metres from the beach and even as you approach Baan Sabai you are greeted by the sound and view of the sea, so close by. Palms meanwhile provide welcome shade and the tropical feel is completed by the wonderfully maintained gardens, providing a lush surrounding for one of Koh Samui’s foremost beachfront communities.

The Koh Samui region
Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.
Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometres. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.
Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilerating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. And an excellent golf course is available for a more gentle form of exercise.
The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.
Sunny skies and calm seas prevail for most of the year. The island remains unspoiled with all construction being controlled by strict building regulations. The villas at Samui Beach Village offer a tranquil community for nature lovers to be at home, situated amidst a tropical paradise.
Regular connections from Samui airport give easy access to the rest of the world. Direct connections to Phuket, Pattaya, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur already exist with more destinations planned for the future.
Samui Beach Village area
Baan Sabai is in a superb location for people looking to lose themselves in the beauty of Koh Samui's gorgeous beaches and lush tropical landscape. The villa is set in Samui Beach Village, a small luxury living development far away from the busy tourist areas of Samui.
With unspoiled beaches in the relatively undeveloped south-eastern coast, Samui Beach Village has been created amid a profusion of coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens. Convenient for Koh Samui's many attractions, it is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.
You are only ten minutes away from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng and Samui's top golf course, and 35 minutes from the airport, so you are never far from the action. But while there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife and other activities, you will still feel you are on your own tropical island paradise.
Samui itself is also home to excellent medical care, and there are hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all round the island. Together with all the various Thai health spas, many of which are within a short distance of Samui Beach Village, all your health care needs can be satisfied.
How to get there
Baan Sabai is just 35 minutes away from Samui International Airport, Thailand's 2nd International Airport after Bangkok. Flights are available from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and other main airports around Asia.
We include a pick-up service within our rental prices, so once you arrive in Koh Samui our driver will be there ready to collect you. Once you get to the villa you are met by our villa manageress, making the whole transfer process a great start to your time in Koh Samui.

Further details indoors: The villa is extraordinarily light inside, as well as roomy. Subtly decorated with Thai-style ornaments, this is a far cry from anonymous hotel-style accommodation. For a start, there is a wonderful kitchen complete with everything you need, where you can make anything from a snack to a five-course dinner. Better still, if you don’t fancy preparing your food, an expert chef is just a phone call away and will be only too happy to cater for you in the villa.
There are 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, all generously-sized and appointed with luxury in mind. Think king-size beds, crisp cotton sheets, with air-conditioning you can set at just the right temperature. Bedside cabinets and roomy built-in wardrobes allow you to organise and stow all your baggage, giving the rooms an uncluttered look. The bedrooms have a very private feel to them and despite the openness of the villa, having your very own space is an integral feature of the design. Nights, you'll sink into a deliciously comfortable bed, and waking up is a delight with en-suite bathrooms like those at Baan Sabai.
As with all good tropical living, the kitchen and living room seem to flow into each other, allowing for easy and laidback conviviality. Sofas face a very large-screen TV, which will make viewing more like a cinema experience. This is a full home entertainment system including state-of-the-art satellite and DVD/CD systems.
Baan Sabai is fully air conditioned and has ceiling fans to add to your comfort and relaxation. Satellite TV, DVD player and a compact sound system and ADSL internet connection are provided for the entertainment of our guests.
There is also a full-time villa manageress, Fiona, who will ensure you have a perfect holiday. She is an integral part of the fully serviced accommodation and is supported by five members of staff who take care of the rooms, gardens and pools. She can also arrange for you to have an in-house chef should you wish, or provide food and drinks, organise tours, activities or taxis. There is also the villa car available for rent. We can even arrange for you to have massage and beauty treatments in your own villa.

Guestbook for Baan Sabai
We just came back from Samui and we can not stop thinking and talking about our stay in Baan Sabai Villa. Everything was perfect out there. The sea was warm, clean and clear. Most of the time we spent on our nearest beach we were almost alone (5-10 other people from our neighborhood there) without any other tourists or beach retail dealers, which was really unique and very pleasant experience.
The closest shops and food market were located within walking distance just behind the Muslim village which was really nice beach walk to get there and then little touch of domestic atmosphere. Yet when we wanted to feel crowded streets and enjoy company of other tourists we traveled just for 5-7 minutes by taxi and suddenly we were in the heart of Lamai.
The weather was great (little bit cooler at the beginning so we did not get sunburn and very hot afterwards so our skin is nicely brown now) and the staff (especially local people - housekeepers, gardeners, breakfast-lady, pool cleaner...etc) were fabulous. Very helpful and very diligent. During all the time we spent on the island we also felt very safe out there.
Let me please thank you very much for your assistance and plenty of information you provided us with before we left.
