Baan Sarika is a gorgeous Thai style beachfront villa sitting directly on Laem Set Beach and offering stunning ocean views. The sandy beach and shallow waters make it very suitable for young children. There is a constant gentle breeze that makes it a paradise for kite boarders who visit in the winter months.

This luxury villa has been carefully designed to offer some of the best accommodation in Koh Samui. With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, together with other additional facilities, the villa offers a fabulous five-star beachside vacation experience. It is enhanced by beautiful beachside gardens which incorporate a sundeck, private infinity beach pool and jacuzzi, all overlooking the large sandy beaches which stretch away in both directions. Baan Sarika is positioned around a central lotus pond and feature sala. The accommodation is contained within several Thai style buildings linked together by internal walkways, forming one grand villa.

The Koh Samui region

Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.

Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometres. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.

The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.

Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilerating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. And an excellent golf course is available for a more gentle form of exercise.

Samui Beach Village area

Baan Sarika is in a superb location for people looking to lose themselves in the beauty of Koh Samui's gorgeous beaches and lush tropical landscape. The villa is set in Samui Beach Village, a small luxury living development far away from the busy tourist areas of Samui.

With unspoiled beaches in the relatively undeveloped south-eastern coast, Samui Beach Village has been created amid a profusion of coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens. Convenient for Koh Samui's many attractions, it is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.

You are only ten minutes away from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng and Samui's top golf course, and 35 minutes from the airport, so you are never far from the action. While there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife and other activities, you will still feel you are on your own tropical island paradise.

Samui itself is also home to excellent medical care, and there are hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all round the island. Together with all the various Thai health spas, many of which are within a short distance of Samui Beach Village, all your health care needs can be satisfied.

How to get there

Baan Sarika is just 35 minutes away from Samui International Airport, Thailand's 2nd International Airport after Bangkok. Flights are available from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and other main airports around Asia.

We include a pick-up service within our rental prices, so once you arrive in Koh Samui our driver will be there ready to collect you. Once you get to the villa you are met by our villa manageress, making the whole transfer process a great start to your time in Koh Samui. We can arrange car hire for you directly from our villa, and we also have two 4x4 vehicles ourselves available for hire.

The main living area consists of a lounge overlooking the beachfront, with the dining facility and fully fitted Western kitchen to the rear linked through from the entrance hall. There are five en-suite bedrooms, all designed to the highest standard, both in terms of quality and decor. There are also a two further rooms, a TV room with library, and an office ready prepared with high-speed wireless internet.

The master bedroom suite is on two levels and boasts a private lounge with sea view terrace. Tastefully decorated with antiques and quality artwork, this provides a wonderful luxury beachside experience with stunning views from the elevated bedroom position. The second master bedroom is also on the beach side of the villa, and it too offers extensive views over the gardens to the ocean beyond. The luxurious en-suite bathroom includes a large steam room, a superb jacuzzi bath and a separate walk-in shower. The third bedroom is fitted with a beautiful four-poster king-sized bed, plus en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have delightful Thai paintings and furnishings, with beautiful teak floors throughout. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are both fitted with queen beds and again have en-suite bathrooms, making the villa suitable for larger parties if required. The villa also has a maid's room set away from the main living areas. This room can be used as a single room, and has its own en-suite shower. To complete the extensive facilities that make up the Baan Sarika villa complex there is an extra shower room and separate WC.

The villa is fully air conditioned in each room and has ceiling fans and mosquito screen doors to add to your comfort and relaxation. Satellite TV, DVD player and a compact sound system and ADSL internet connection are provided for the entertainment of our guests.

There is also a full-time villa manageress, who will ensure you have a perfect holiday. She is an integral part of the fully serviced accommodation and is supported by three members of staff who take care of the rooms, gardens and pools. She can also arrange for you to have an in-house chef should you wish, or provide gourmet food and drinks and organise tours, activities or taxis. There is also the villa car available for rent. We can even arrange for you to have a massage and beauty treatments in your own villa.
