Baan Orchid is a charming two-bedroom villa set in a beautiful tropical garden with its own private swimming pool. It is just a few metres away from one of the best and most secluded beaches in Koh Samui. The heart of the villa is a large living space which includes lounge, dining and kitchen areas all neatly interlinked. To the rear are the two bedrooms, while the front features lush tropical gardens, sun-decking and private pool.
You enter the property from your private parking area, through the profusion of tropical trees and flowers. The palm trees are surrounded by lilies, jasmine, bougainvillea, birds of paradise, and of course the beautiful orchids after which the villa has been named. In front of the villa is your private pool with a large sundeck set out with loungers and umbrellas ready for you to enjoy the tropical sunshine that abounds in Samui. To complete the picture you have your own private outdoor dining area close to the villa.

The Koh Samui region
Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.
Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometers. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.
The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. With unspoiled beaches in the relatively undeveloped south-eastern coast, Samui Beach Village has been created amid a profusion of coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens. Convenient for Koh Samui's many attractions, it is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.
You are only ten minutes away from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng and Samui's top golf course, and 35 minutes from the airport, so you are never far from the action. While there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife and other activities, you will still feel you are on your own tropical island paradise.
Samui itself is also home to excellent medical care, and there are hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all round the island. Together with all the various Thai health spas, many of which are within a short distance of Samui Beach Village, all your health care needs can be satisfied.
How to get there
Baan Orchid is just 35 minutes away from Samui International Airport, Thailand's 2nd International Airport after Bangkok. Flights are available from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and other main airports around Asia.
We include a pick-up service within our rental prices, so once you arrive in Koh Samui our driver will be there ready to collect you. Once you get to the villa you are met by our villa manageress, making the whole transfer process a great start to your time in Koh Samui. We can arrange car hire for you directly from our villa, and we also have two 4x4 vehicles ourselves available for hire.

The dining room is conveniently placed between the lounge and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences for food preparation. We also have a gourmet Chef available for an additional charge if you would like to enjoy a five-star dining experience in your own villa. We pride ourselves on the standard of comfort we provide throughout the villa, from air conditioning and fans found in all rooms through to the quality of service assured by our villa manageress and staff.
The master bedroom is has a king-size bed, bedside cabinets and built-in wardrobes, including a guest safe. There is also a large en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, separate shower unit and sink/toilet. The second bedroom is just as roomy, with another king-size bed, bedside cabinets and built-in wardrobes. Its separate bathroom is equipped with a shower unit and sink/toilet facility. The living area, which extends across the front of the villa, has open views over the garden and swimming pool.
The villa is fully air conditioned and has ceiling fans and mosquito screen doors to add to your comfort and relaxation. Satellite TV, DVD player and a compact sound system and ADSL internet connection are provided for the entertainment of our guests.
Further details outdoors: The large patio doors lead out to the sundeck furnished with quality teak patio tables, chairs and sun loungers. Adjoining this is your private swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing dip to cool down from the hot tropical sunshine.

There is also a full-time villa manageress, Fiona, who will ensure you have a perfect holiday. She is an integral part of the fully serviced accommodation and is supported by five members of staff who take care of the rooms, gardens and pools. She can also arrange for you to have an in-house chef should you wish, or provide food and drinks and organise tours, activities or taxis. There is also the villa car available for rent. We can even arrange for you to have massage and beauty treatments in your own villa.
