Home description
Astasia Villa is a spacious family holiday home situated in the relatively unspoilt south eastern corner of Koh Samui. It boasts 4 lovely large en-suite bedrooms, two of which have smaller bedrooms attached. It can accommodate up to 10 adults and two children, (or a combination of adults and children up to 12 peopl), and so is ideal for small or large families with or without children.
A wonderful holiday is guaranteed in the villa, situated only 50 metes from a long white sand beach, but with it's own stunning swimming in a secluded private tropical garden. Three restaurants are within walking distance, a Chef service can be provided or meals delivered, - but shops restaurants, bars and night life abount about 8 mins. away.

The Koh Samui region
Koh Samui, the third largest island in Thailand is situated just 35km from Surat Thani off Thailand's south eastern coast. It is in the Gulf of Siam and unlike Phuket, which is situated on the west coast of Thailand, there is no possibility of a Tsunami affecting it. Samui is just part of an archipelago of 80 smaller islands of which Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and The Anthong Marine Park are the best known.
The island has a mountainous interior coated in tropical jungle with many tracks that the adventurous can explore in 4x4 vehicles - easily rentable. Samui is best known though for its shimmering golden sand tropical beaches, coconut palms, numerious spectacular waterfalls and every where friendly smiling people. There is a plentiful amount of wonderful spa facilities, to enhance your relaxation time. Amazing choice of restaurants offering local and international cuisine and exotic night life.
From the beaches there is a superb array of watersports including, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. Inland, there is elephant trekking, a stunning championship golf course, quad biking and many, many more activites. If that was not enough Thai Cooking classes and Thai Massage are found everywhere.
All in all everthing one could ever dream of on a Tropical Paradise Island.
Samui Beach Village area
Astasia Villa is part of a very small cluster of luxury villas all with lush tropical gardens set amongst coconut trees in the unspoilt south eastern corner of Koh Samui. The villas are set back from the white sands of Natien Beach, which itself stretches for hundreds of yards either side and leads to Laem Set. The sea is fairly shallow, and very calm and safe, and at low tide many rock pools are exposed, wonderful for children to go exploring.
There are three authentic Thai restaurant within walking distance and most excursions on the island provide pick up services from the Villa. A short walk down the beach takes you to an Aquarium and small zoo with Tigers, and between November and March Kite surfing is very popular off the beach. For those with a car the bustling town of Lamai with it's hugh selection of restaurants, bars, nightlife and more wonderful beaches is but 8 minutes away.
How to get there
Astasia Villa is easily accessed from the charming Samui Airport which is about 30 minuites away. Bangkok Air and Thai Airways between them have a flight nearly every hour from Bangkok, and there are direct flights from Singapore, Hong Kong, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur to mention a few.
We can provide taxis from the airport at under US$20.00 per trip or arrange a Hire Car with our local travel experts, James Travel.
Koh Samui can also be accessed from the mainland town of Surat Thani by boat with an hourly ferry service to Nathon - 20 mins. away from the villa.

Further details indoors: The Villa is spacious, bright and airy, with polished Teng Hard Wood floors, large clear glass windows and generous patios and balconies bringing you spectacular views of the sea and tropical gardens. Indoors the furniture, all hand chosen from Chaing Mai is exquisite and the walls are adorned with some splendid art work. All the rooms are airconditioned and have ceiling fans and extensive variable lighting. There are 4 main en-suite bedrooms, two upstairs with King size beds, and two downstairs, one with kingsize and the other with twin beds. Two further small bedrooms are available, one with bunk beds and the other with a large sngle. A put-u-up bed and cot can also be provided. Satellite TV is provided and the DVD player links to a surround cinema sound system. There is also Broadband Internet access and Hi Fi, Radio and CD Players.
Further details outdoors: The centre piece outside the villa is the 9 metre by 4 metre free flow swimming pool, which features at one end a jacuzzie seat. The pool is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and entertainment areas. Outside the lounge and dining areas, and the third bedroom, are furnished sun decks, and there is a romantic Sala for relaxing in the shade.
Pool and Bath towels are provided and changed regularly.
There is a dedicated bathroom for use when enjoying the pool area and an outdoor "bucket" shower.
Further details
A welcome pack is provided on arrival which can be tailored to specific requirements. All guests are met by the local manager on arrival, who attends to all problems and needs during guest's vacation. A maid service is provided twice a week but this can be extended to a daily service if requested at an additional cost. A chef can also be arranged.
Guests can be met and transported from the airport or port by taxi service or by hire car, arranged on request.
Conditions
25% of rental fee due on booking to secure your stay. Balance due six weeks before arrival. Minimum booking 3 days. Minimum booking 14 days over Christmas period.
