The Beach Village House provides a luxury holiday home for those who are seeking peace and security set beside an unspoilt beach on Koh Samui’s quiet south east coast. This single storey property is deceptively roomy as once inside there is a feeling of spaciousness and total luxury. The interior decoration is the last word in cool contemporary design. The villa is fully air conditioned as well as being fitted with ceiling fans and mosquito screen doors to add to your comfort and relaxation. Satellite TV, DVD player and a compact sound system and free WI FI are provided for guest’s entertainment & use.

The Koh Samui region

Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.

Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometres. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.

The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.

Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilarating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. Samui Beach Village area

Samui Beach Village is superbly located for people looking to lose themselves in the beauty of Koh Samui's gorgeous beaches and lush tropical landscape. Set on an unspoiled stretch of beach in the relatively undeveloped South Eastern coast, Samui Beach Village is surrounded by coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens. The development is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.

Situated only 10 minutes from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng, and 35 minutes to the airport, you are never far from the action. There is easy access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and activities, and yet you will feel like you are on your own tropical island paradise.

The concept was to offer a sense of community living. Samui Beach Village has achieved this by taking into account all the requirements and practicalities of daily living.

Although you'll be living on a tropical island, you won't be isolated, as you'll have all the modern conveniences such as Email and Internet Access, Satellite TV, and Telephones. Samui is also home to excellent medical care, with hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies all around the island. And together with all the various health spas all your health care needs are taken care of.

How to get there

Fly directly to the idyllic airport at Koh Samui with Bangkok Airlines from either Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur. Pick-up from the airport can be arranged, and the villa 4x4 vehicle is available for hire.

The accommodation provides a living room furnished with top quality furniture and soft furnishings including a corner sofa suite, occasional tables and coffee table adorned with thai handicrafts. The room is complimented with Thai art wall hangings, mirrors and indoor potted plants. Patio doors open out to the pool and garden. An attractive wood slat surround feature separates the living area from the kitchen.

The split level kitchen/dining area is furnished with a 6 seater dining room table and chairs, a step down leads to the state of the state of the art fully equipped kitchen where everything you need for preparing that special meal is provided including, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.

The master bedroom is accessed from the living area. The room has a double bed and ample fitted wardrobe and drawer space. The interior is beautifully decorated with soft furnishings, wall hangings and indoor potted plants. The sumptuous bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle has a feature wall sculpture and attractive hanging light fittings.

A corridor from the living area leads to two further luxuriously furnished double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms and a final guest wing unto itself with a queen size bed and its own en suite. The bedroom to the rear of the villa has a door leading on to a secondary garden providing a cool shady relaxing area. A guest bathroom off the living area completes the accommodation.

Both the living area and master bedroom have views over the garden and swimming pool and patio doors lead out to the south facing wooden sundeck furnished with quality teak patio tables, chairs and sun loungers. In the corner of the garden, separate from the pool and surrounded by tropical plants, is a private Jacuzzi pool which makes an ideal spot for relaxing while sipping an evening cocktail. The idyllic white sand beach is just a few minutes stroll away for you to enjoy a dip shimmering waters of the Gulf of Siam.

Chaweng beach is by far the most beautiful beach to spend the day - Lamai water is not blue like Chaweng. Lots of shops and restaurants, most are good value and atmosphere.

Suggest beach walking early morning or late evening after sun is gone.

-We loved the Beach Village House and all the staff were so friendly. Our kids spent most of the time in the pool.

We discovered a great pizza place called "Juzza" up at fisherman’s village The M's restaurant provided excellent take away and Dr. Frogs was fantastic - great outlook and yummy food.

We recommend Namuang Waterfall 2. We opted to walk rather than go on the elephants. We swam at the first pool with a refreshing waterfall which was beautiful refreshing and quiet. Also the day trip to Angthong National Marine Park-well organised, lots to do, beautiful beaches and lovely a part of Koh Samui which is being conserved.

Thank you though for a fantastic holiday and we'll certainly think of Samui Beach Village for our future trips to Koh Samui
