Baan Tawan, with its 3 well-appointed bedrooms (all with en-suites) lies on a tree lined lane which is a horticulturists dream in itself: flowering foliage, banana trees and tropical plants catch the eye, and behind them lays the villa, with rising Thai roofs and an exciting blend of contemporary and traditional architecture.
Baan Tawan pays tribute to Thailand's artful blending of the modern with the old, effortlessly dovetailing them and getting the very best out of both. It is a style that is easy on the eye and very captivating. Considering that the whole aim of the villa is to provide a relaxing holiday for its occupants, everything has been done with simplicity and efficiency in mind, allowing you and your family and friends to enjoy your time in Thailand without any worries.
The villa exudes not just stylishness but comfort too. As you enter, you are greeted by a large room that combines kitchen, dining room and lounge all at the same time. It is well planned and contains every modern convenience, including an espresso/cappuccino machine for an easy rise in the morning. The kitchen with its oven, fridge/freezer, blender, microwave and all the extras allows for professional cooking to take place while big screen entertainment and a DVD player with universal iPod docking station in the living area (as well a Playstation 3 to keep the kids entertained!) provides hours of fun and excellent viewing.
Right outside you will find that the pool, set in a lush garden is the place to unwind during the day along with outdoor dining for 8 and a BBQ for you to enjoy, or to let our Chef Eak prepare you a sumptuous feast. You'll find loungers and parasols aplenty around the pool and garden, and no matter how hot it gets, sitting in the shade is always pleasurable.
The bedrooms in Baan Tawan are beautifully decorated and each comes with its own sleek and stylish en-suite. Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with a private balcony, walk in wardrobe with desk area and spacious bathroom with a bath for the times you want to unwind. On the same level is the second bedroom with two single beds, perfect for friends, guests or children! Again it boasts a private balcony, walk in wardrobe and en-suite. You'll find the third bedroom on the ground floor with large glass doors that open on to a small private gardened area as well as its own en-suite, which has a second door leading to the pool.
The villas at Samui Beach Village are filled with grace notes that exude good taste. You'll find that the rooms in Baan Tawan all come with beautiful decor and ornaments that have come from the kingdoms antique shops and ateliers. For example, there is an embossed bell; a Thai tasseled lamp redolent of days gone by and works of modern art, these are just some of the delights that come with Baan Tawan. The Koh Samui region
Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.
Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometers. And it's part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and the Ang thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.
The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches, it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs in the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.
Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilerating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. And an excellent golf course is available for a more gentle form of exercise.
Sunny skies and calm seas prevail for most of the year. The island remains unspoiled with all construction being controlled by strict building regulations. The villas at Samui Beach Village offer a tranquil community for nature lovers to be at home, situated amidst a tropical paradise.
Regular connections from Samui airport give easy access to the rest of the world. Direct connections to Phuket, Pattaya, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur already exist with more destinations planned for the future.
The Samui Beach Village area
The beach stretches out in front of the villa, with white sand afoot and magnificent views to the north and south of Samui. The beach is ideal for families with large stretches of sand and small pools for children to play in. Being away form the busy Samui tourist areas, the beaches are always quiet with at the most a handful of tourists and a few fishermen. During the winter months the beaches around here form a top location for kite-Boarding, with its shallow sandy lagoon.
Samui Beach Village is superbly located for people looking to lose themselves in the beauty of Koh Samui's gorgeous beaches and lush tropical landscape. Set on an unspoiled stretch of beach in the relatively undeveloped South Eastern coast, Baan Talay is surrounded by coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens. As part of the luxury Samui Beach Village it is only a 20 minute boat ride to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighboring islands which are well-known for their fantastic fishing and snorkelling.
