The Aegean Islands region
Aegean islands are opposite of the Turkish cost in the east part of Greece. Samos is the greenest of Aegean Islands near Ikaria and Patmos, just opposite of the turkish town Kusadasi . Homeland of the great phylosopher Pythagoras, famous for it's wines.
Samos is the greenest island of the eastern aegean sea, about 324km away from the largest port of Greece, Pireas and just 800m from Asia Minor shores. Samos is neighboring with Chios island in the north, Kousadasi of Turkey in the east, Patmos island in the south and Ikaria island in the west. Its size is 475 sq and has 36.000 permanent inhabitants.
