About the home
The apartment (75 m²) features three rooms, a large kitchen bathroom with shower and WC, balcony and is perfect for up to 5 persons. The living room is equipped with 2 comfortable sofas, an additionalsofa made up op of 2 mattresses where a fifth person can sleep, a large Sat-TV, DVD, video recorder, hammock, bean bag and Floccati-carpet. . The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, spacious wardrobe and a SAT television. The third room has a sofa which opens into a comfortable double bed , a library, desk with computer and ADSL internet, armchair and access to the balcony.
You will also find a big library and plenty of games in the pretty and spacious lobby . The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, large fridge, E-stove, oven, microwave, toaster, a coffee machine, juicer, lots of dishes etc.... A large table and chairs provide enough place for 6 persons. In addition: shower and WC , hair dryer washing machine and drying machine, baby bed and baby high chair .Bed linen and towels are included. This is a non-smoker apartment. Smoking only on the balcony.

Conditions
30% of rental fee due when making your reservation , to secure booking.
Cancellation policy:
Downpayment will be returned if cancellation is made more than 4 weeks before due arrival.
Between 2 and 4 weeks before arrival, it will only be refunded if the apartment is booked by someone else for this time.
If the apartment is cancelled less than 2 weeks before due arrival, 80% of the rent must be payed, unless somebody else books the apartment for the same time.

Salzburg offers many highlights all year around. Besides the beautiful historical centre with the fortress Hohensalzburg, Mozart's birthblace and houser, the picturesque narrow streets of the old town, churches, museums, galleries, the palace of Hellbrunn and Mirabell, there are the famous festivals, attracting tourist from all the world. The Salzburger Festspiele In july and August, with concerts. operas, theater plays, The Osterfestspiele at Eastern time and the Pfingstfestspiele in May.
There are many beautiful places in the vicinity of Salzburg which you can either visit with an organised tour or on your own , by renting a car, as the ice caves of Werfen, the salines of Hallein, the lake region Salzkammergut , the palace of Fuschl (where the movie " the Sound of music "was made), the königssee in Berchtesgaden, the historical town of Hallstadt etc. you can also go up by cable car on the Untersberg , during winter also a skying resort, from which you have a beautiful view on the city of Salzburg.
I recommend that you get a Salzburg card for 3 days, where all the entrance fees to te interesting sightsseeing places, the city busses and the cable car up the Untersberg are included.
The Salzburg / Max Glan area
The apartment is located in Ganshofstrasse 18, in the part of the city called Max Glan, 10- 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of the historical old town
During summer, besides sightseeing or visiting concerts, theaters, museums you can also go swimming in one of the nearby lakes or the swimming pool in Leopoldskron which is not far. You can go hiking in the mountains in the surroundings of Salzburg, bike riding, play tennis at Tennis Point or just relax in one of the many caffes downtown enjoying the delicious Austrian cakes ,

By car: Coming form the freeway A 10
EXIT Salzburg Airport, go ahead to the first traffic light, then turn left to the Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse. At the end of Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse turn right to Maxglaner Hauptstrasse.
After having passed a small bridge, turn immediately left to Straubingerstrasse. At the end of Straubingerstrasse turn left to Ganshofstrasse. It's the second house on the left side, a light green house.

I have been with my husband in this cozy apartment and enjoy so much. First it is only fifteen minutes a walk from the city center, and have all you need around the place. But what really differ this place from others is the special treatment her owner give us. Dr. Ruth thought about every detail to make our stay agreable from the full equipated kitchen to even an Brasilian hammok. Be sure I will recommend to all my friends traveling to Szalburg |

These apartments were absolulutely perfect for our trip to Salzburg to see the Christmas markets. They make a perfect combination for anyone travelling in two small groups. My husband, my son and I stayed in the 3 room apartment and my parents in the 2 room one. It was great to wander between the two but still have independence from each other. The apartments,were extremely clean, really homely, had everything we needed and were close to the city centre - also really really close to the airport! (You need to get a bus or drive into the centre or its probably about a 30 minute walk). I would thoroughly recommend these apartments to anyone thinking of going to Salzburg. Thank you!

What a great place to stay! The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood only a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Parking is included and a very good pizza place is nearby. A car in not necessary if you are only going into the city.
The apartment is very spacious and four of us had plenty of room. Everything you would need is there and I would definitely stay again. Thanks again Dr. Ruth.

We really loved the apartment and had a great stay there. We had more than
we needed...the use of the computer was great as we were able to be
connected to home and also weather updates! Thanks so very much for
everything!
We also enjoyed the Gasthof right at the end of your street. I cannot
remember the name but it is just before the footbridge. The food is VERY
good and the prices are reasonable.Good Austrian dishes I can highly
recommend it, we ate there twice and the people are friendly. You may add
it to your visitor info in your little book. It is always nice to have an
idea of where to go! We also enjoyed the cafe Fuerst that you recommended.
You can add that to your notes as well in the book as I am sure your guests
would appreciate good tips!
So thanks once agaon for a great stay in Salzburg...we all enjoyed it a
lot! We will recommend your place to anyone visiting that beautiful area!

To be honest I must to say that it was a true pleasure to be in Ms. Dict apartament. The equipment is great, specially if you like me travel with 2 years old babies, they can play and read children's books, watch the dvd The apartament is nice, and is located in a very quiet area, near the centre of the city. You can park the car outside of the house. Ms. Ruth Dick is a very pleasent lady and you can trust totally in her. A true very recomended option if you decide go to Salzburg. Eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Ferienwohnunung. Hervorzuheben ist die Nähe zur historischen Altstadt (15 min. zu Fuß)und die Ruhe. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter wird wohl keinem langweilig, da eine Riesenbibliothek für jeden Geschmack etwas bereitstellt.Auch der Service , dass Handtücher und Bettwäsche bereitgestellt werden ist nicht überall selbstverständlich.

Vielen Grüss für ein schönes Wohnung - alles war OK. Viel platz, schönes Balkon, stille und ruhig Quartier, centralt mit gute restaurantn und eindkaufmöchlichkeiten um die Ecke. Wir kann es nur empfehlen, und besuchen gern Ganshofstrasse 18 noch einmal.

5 lovely days in and arround Salzburg based from Dr Dicks apartment has left us with many happy memories. With our 4 young children we did not feel in the slightest bit cramped and the kids were referring to it as home after the first day! Well located between the Airport and the city with two bus route alternatives to the city which is within walking distance too. Highly recommended -

A friend and I used this apartment in June 2009. It is compact but the level of equipment provided is excellent. The apartment was in good condition and immaculately clean.
It is in a quiet suburb of Salzburgh with a nearby bus route both to the city centre and to the main railway station. There is a gasthof within two minutes walk which provided adequate meals and friendly service. There is also a small supermarket about ten minutes walk away where one can buy essentials.
The owner was extremely helpful, informing us and then arranging transport from Munich airport directly to the apartment.
