5 minute walk from town centre and opposite the market place, this high spec, 2,600 sq ft apt is owned by the owners of this large townhouse villa which contains several other apartments. The apartment for rent here is entirely private with private access and private use of the garden which belongs to this apt only. The other 3 smaller apartments in the building are on permanent rental to Italians and their access is at the back.

This is the perfect base to enjoy this lovely spa town, where beautiful cafes and art nouveau buildings abound, and the surrounding area, famous throughout Italy for its castles and national parks. Salsomaggiore is home to the famous Miss Italia pageant every September and a popular holiday destination for Italians who come to take "the cure" in one of the many spa centres in town or just to be seen in the equally famous evening passegiata. This area is renowned for its cheese, ham and pasta and the house is a mere 30 km from Parma - jewel of Northern Italy.

The Emilia Romagna region

Salsomaggiore 25 km southwest of Parma on the hills is famous for its waters and cultural events. It is popular with Italians looking for health breaks - hill walking, golf, horse riding all available in the immediate vicinity and the town itself full of health giving spas. A great town for families with a beautiful outdoor pool complex, child friendly parks and ice cream parlours.

How to get there

Salsomaggiore v accessible by air as it is close to many airports.
Ryanair fly to Parma airport which is 25km from house.
Ryanair also fly to Milan Bergamo and Verona Brescia both about a 2 hr drive from house.

Also one hour drive , 90 km, from Milan Linate or Bologna airports both served by most major airlines. Route to house very straightforward.

Car hire available at airport.

Well geared for those who enjoy cooking with large Smeg gas range and oven
