Home description
The villa with ca. 100 sqm has 2 quiet double- bedrooms in the basement, 2 more of them in the ground floor, plus a bathroom with shower and WC and a new washing-machine . In the patio you can park a car well-closed, there is a fresh-water shower, to rinse the sand from the beach away and you can just sit for a rest in the shadow. On the 1st floor is a cosy living- and dining-room with a solid chimney, satellite-TV,a completely equipped kitchen, a 2nd. bathroom with shower and WC, a covered balcony , where you can take your refreshments or meals and an open terrace for sun-tanning or preparing your barbecue. The villa has air conditionning
You can quietly relax at home or go to the good restaurants close-by and bars (many of them are British). Enjoy dinner and go dancing as well. For children there are several playgrounds close to the house.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
Costa Dorada, with its 216 km of beaches at the Mediterranean coastline is a very popular beach holiday destination. However the region is more than your typical beach resort - stunning scenary, a wealth of culture and history as well as a variety of sporting events and cuisine to try ,makes Tarragona and Costa Dorada a must stay location! The climate is mediterranean, low humidity and very little rainfall, temperatures in summer 73-90 degrees, which are softened by gently cooling sea-breezes . Tarragona offers a number of famous roman buildings (aqueduct, necropolis,amphitheatre,museums , cathedral etc.and is reached within 15 minutes. Being the regional capital it has also excellent shopping facilities. The monastery of Poblet reflects the history of the catalan sovereigns.Due to the excellent climate wonderful red wines are cultivated in the "Priorat" ,in Scala Dei and Gratallops ;you cannot only look but also taste and buy the wines. Excursions bring you to Montserrat monastery (60km)high up in the mountains or to Europe's biggest area of sparkling wine production in Sant Sadurni de Anoia. Within 15 min. you reach Europe's second largest Theme and Water Park (Port Aventura). Moreover there is also nearby zhe Aquopolis Water Park with a modern dolphinarium.
Salou area
Salou is a pleasant beach-resort with a lot of UK-visitors. It offers a wide variety of sports and activities for all age groups. Large, sandy ,gently sloping and children-friendly beaches invite for family holidays. The coastline of Salou has 8 main beaches, each inviting with shallow waters and a low tidee. The closest to the villa is Capellans beach (in 75m) with all facilities,life guard,first aid,sunbed and shade hire,pedalos, sailboat and surfer hire,etc.There is a long palm-promenade with spectacularly illuminated fountains , attracting guests to a relaxing walk and visits to the restaurants and bars close-by, to cater for all needs. Salou has carting circuits for adults and for children, a bungee trampoline and a bungee rocket.
There is a good night life in town,but not noisy around the villa
How to get there
By Ryanair or other low cost carriers directly to Reus airport (served all year) from Birmingham,Stansted,Luton, Liverpool,Glasgow and Dublin . To Barcelona international airport. flights from all Europe by a big choice of carriers. Recommended car hire Europecar, please make lease previously by internet in order to get cheap lease-prices Railway connection from Barcelona (also from airport) dirctly to Salou (2km)or Port Aventura.(1km) From there by public bus or taxi.

Further details indoors: The villa is equipped with all necessary tableware, glasses,electric cooking facilities, coffee-machine etc. There is an additional fridge on the balcony to keep your bottles cool and an awning to give shadow. On the terrace there are reclining seats, a big umbrella, a barbecue , a big table and additional seats
Further details outdoors: In the patio is a fresh water outdoor shower, and a small garden with olive-trees. The whole property is fenced in. The villa has no swimming-pool, but in 75 m is the beach of the Mediterranean Sea. For all those who would like to benefit of a sweet-water-pool we recommend to use the pools of the hotels in the neighborhood, you are welcome as long as you use their bar service. The same applies for using their dance-floors.

-Minimum lease-time is 1 week starting on Saturday. -25% of total amount to be paid at the conclusion of the lease contract to secure booking -keys will be sent to you by registred mail upon receipt of the full payment
