Located in an exclusive, peaceful area, this villa gives immediate access to sandy beaches( 1 minute walk) and a 10 minute drive brings you to Bonmont Golf Course. With a supermarket and restaurants very close by , you could spend an easy-going holiday here or venture further afield for memorable experiences such as a visit to Spain's Disney Land, Port Aventura, (30 minute drive), the World Heritage Site town of Tarragona or charming seaside resorts - Cambrils, Miami. 200 square metres, the 4 bedroom, 2 level villa lies on a private, fenced garden with child-friendly gravel, and BBQ . Please note that the lawn in two photos now has a child-friendly gravel covering, suitable for play. Ground Floor: open kitchen with 4 hotplates, oven , microwave, kettle, dish washer, fridge and dining area . Salon: cosy furnishings, open fireplace, TV with CNN, NBC Business, Euro Sport and a number of German channels. DVD/cassette player. Videos / DVDs may be hired in Cambrils - 6 kms away. 3 bedrooms of which two with double beds ( Master bedroom with queen size bed), and one with twin beds./ Bathroom with bidet and WC. The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
On the Mediterranean, this is the Golden Coast ( Costa Dorada). It extends from Barcelona to the Ebro Delta and is famous for its sandy beaches, its seaside resorts, ( Cambrils, 6 kms, Salou, 14 kms) and its theme park - Spain's Disney Land - Port Aventura ( 18 kms). The climate is mild, with temperatures high in Summer but never too high! In ten minutes by car you reach the famed Bonmont Golf Course and Country Club. Prices range from 10 euros for Ladies' Day( Monday) and 10 euros for Gents' Day on Wednesday, to 18 euros for normal days. Club hire is available for 2 euros.A second championship Golf course lies 14 kms away, near the large town of Reus.
Salou / Cambrils area
Tired of relaxing on the sun-drenched beach? Try an exciting day-excursion in the region. Starting at Cambrils, a charming fishing port and small town, you will find daily cruises of the coast. In the same town, you can also practice any number of water activities - surfing, diving, sailing, water ski-ing, wind-surfing.Quad and Karting activities are available in Miami ( 6 kms) and Salou( 14 kms), respectively. Activities you may enjoy directly from the villa are cycling, mountain biking, walking, tennis, fishing. If you enjoy the Disney Land adventure at Port Aventura with your children, then you will also want the safari and/or aquatic park experience at Aquapark" Aqualeon "Safari ( about 60 kms), or Aquapolis, some 20 kms away. The Natural Park of the Ebro Delta ,famed for its bird sanctuary ( eagles, vultures, flamingoes), and fishing is around 50 kms away. Summer festivals and colourful markets abound in local towns. Nearby Tarragona is a World Heritage site. With its amphitheatre, towers, forum, circus and ramparts, Tarragona is, after Rome, the most important city in the world for Roman remains. If you fancy a Spanish champagne tasting, visit Codorniu and Freixenet. Combine it with a visit to the fascinating Montserrat Monastery. If your taste stretches to bullfighting, take in one in Barcelona or visit its celebrated zoo with your kids.
How to get there
The villa is in the exclusive, peaceful estate of Montroig Bahia Playa, 6 kms from Miami and Cambrils, 25 kms from Tarragona World Heritage Centre, and 120 kms South of Barcelona.The nearest international airports are Reus, Barcelona, and Girona. Reus, the nearest, is about 17 kms away. Ryanair, Thomson and First Choice fly into Reus, Ryanair to Girona and Easy Jet to Barcelona. When you book, you can reserve a car at Reus airport, for pick-up there on arrival. Further details indoors: No mistake about it, this is a kid-friendly area , with family -oriented restaurants a minute or two away. Youngsters can be supervised easily within the villa ( open plan kitchen and living room with windows and glass doors giving onto the garden, or outside - the play area is behind the house, with the kitchen, living room and terrace giving onto it. The garden is walled, gated and fenced so there is no risk that small children leave the property alone. Having no swimming-pool is an added safety factor. On the other hand, the family can take full advantage of the Mediterranean sea, and its sandy beach just a minute away on foot. No tiresome car-rides to get there either! Nor is it ever crowded , unlike many Spanish beaches where you have to stake a claim to your sandy " patch" at 7 am! Baby bed at no extra charge, and with this, accommodation is for 10 people maximum.

Rental rates are for 7 nights- usually Monday afternoon from 4 pm until Monday morning at 10 am.Different arrival- departure days may be possible - please check by email. Take advantage of low air fares outside weekends! The rental rates include gas, electricity, and water. The agent on the spot takes a £6.94 or 10 euro fee per person for linen and towels. The agent also takes the security deposit of £250 ( 365 euros) in cash which will be refunded in full if the villa is left in order. Special rate long-term bookings welcome. In addition, exceptional discounts possible for bookings of up to five persons only. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable 25% deposit. A one-time contribution ( £40) to final cleaning is payable on booking. The balance of the rent is payable 8 weeks before start of rental. On arrival, don't forget to make a " departure appointment" ( during office hours) with the agent. Cancellation policy on request.
