Large wooden doors open in to the spacious sitting room. There, big linen sofas and some unique pieces from South East Asia where the owner has been spending a part of her life, let you know that this is A HOME and not just a rental house.
The modern renovated kitchen made out of microcement opens ontho the dining room. While cooking, you will enjoying looking at the infinity pool and the far horizon behing.
The sleep consists of 3 bedrooms. The first comprises an kingsized canopy bed from Bali. The second comprises 2 single beds headed by white Javanese doors. The third, in the round tower, it's a white refuge, with led side table and breathtaking views of sunsets and sunrises from the bed...
Every space has fabulous views to the blue waters of the Mediterranean below and direct access to the breezy porch, the tropical garden and the immaculated white infinity pool.
At night, on suggestion, our guests can choose to lighten the pool by their favorite colour as the latest LED lamps equipment have just been installed.
In the heart of the house, there is an exotic patio with waterlily blossoming in a burmese pot.
Under the shelter, stylish pots with exotic plants (some brought back from Malaysia), a thai daybed full of cushions, comfortable sofas and a hammock inspire... A magic place to sit, read, relax and dream.
Beside the pool, the lush green lawn embrace breathtaking view towards Sierra Nevada…
There, the white balinese shower where the fresh water comes out from bambu, the blooms of the frangipanis, and the sound of the water invite to serenity".

Location of Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca in Salobrena
Salobrena is located in the colourful and warm south of Spain, in the region of Andalucia and more specifically in the province of Granada. Apart from the Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada mountains, the province of Granada is famous because here you receive free tapas with any drink. This is a great way to sample the delicious local food.
Salobrena is part of the still relatively virgin Costa Tropical.
The appeal of Salobrena and the Costa Tropical in general is that they haven't been spoiled by overdevelopment and mass tourism. The Spanish character has been preserved here. Salobrena doesn't have the international reputation of some of its coastal neighbours on the Costa del Sol, such as Marbella, Puerto Banus or even Nerja, but it's an ideal holiday destination for the discerning tourist.
If you want a relaxing vacation, good beaches, blue skies, sun, a wealth of leisure activities and a taste of the real Spain then you've come to the right place.
The Salobrena / Monte de Los Almendros area
Monte de los Almendros
Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca is located on the mature, residential hillside urbanisation of Monte de los Almendros. The urbanisation, which has evolved gradually since the 1970s, contains individually designed, detached villas that are full of character. This is not a cookie cutter like community or a Disney style resort that have become common in some parts of Spain. The plot size of Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca is 2000 square meters. There are many green zones where birds and other wild life can be spotted. There is a good mix of year round residents as well others who just holiday here.
Monte de los Almendros has a communal recreational area complete with a large pool that is open year round, a children's pool, playground, tennis court, football pitch and table tennis. Guests of Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca have complimentary use of these facilities.
Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca on Monte de los Almendros is just a 5 to 7 minute drive to the centre of Salobrena and the beaches. The nearest links18 hole golf course, Los Moriscos is 10 minutes away from Villa Almaysia La Almendra Blanca.
Since the villa is located above sea level on a hill (Monte de los Almendros means Almond Hill), it has absolutely magnificent views to the sea, the beachfront of Salobrena, the Moorish castle and even the mountains of Sierra Nevada (skiing resort in winter from november to april with 75kms sloaps for every level). Some people walk to the town of Salobrena during the day by walking along the beach of La Caleta. For those who want to dine out and not have to worry about drinking, taxi can be easily arranged (around 8 euros per way).
This beautiful and peaceful part of the Costa Tropical of Granada is well liked by families and couples who want to enjoy the sunshine, the beaches, the countryside of Las Alpujarras and to explore the nearby cities of Granada and Malaga. Salobrena isn't a destination for nightlife or clubbing. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then please do come and visit.

Villa de rêve, il n'y a décidément pas d'autres mots. Je suis parti en famille avec ma femme et mes parents. C'était une surprise pour ces derniers. Nous avions passé 2 semaines en Andalousie et j'avais décidé qu'après une semaine de visites intenses, nous nous délasserions dans cette villa. Il n'a pas fallu longtemps pour les larmes nous montent aux yeux devant un tel spectacle! La maison, son intérieur, sa décoration sublime, sa piscine dans la mer (à débordement) son jardin exotique, sa terrasse et... cette vue à couper le souffle! Et je pèse mes mots. Si un jour on vous parle de "Vue mer", il vous faut passer au moins deux semaines dans cette villa pour vous rendre compte de ce qu'est une "Vue mer"! Tout simplement E N O R M E! Mes parents n'en sont pas encore remis.
Merci et 1000 mercis pour cette semaine de rêve et les soins, les conseils si précieux, la gentillesse et le bon goût de la propriétaire.
