This fabulous 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroomed Penthouse apartment provides a stylish base from which to explore the Costa Tropical of Granada. Recently completed and next to Los Moriscos golf club and beach between Motril and Salobrena, it offers truly superior seaside accommodation on the sunny side of the apartment complex. The large main terrace offers full views of both the Mediterranean and the Sierra mountain range. Patio furniture, barbecue grill, sun loungers and planters all combine for gracious outdoor living. Hide away on the second private terrace leading off the main bedroom to enjoy a leisurely sunset cocktail or watch sky TV on the large flat screen TV in the living room. The living room can even be closed off, so late night owls can carry on without disturbing those tucked in for the evening. The spacious sitting room is beautifully decorated with two leather sofas great for enjoying the flat-screen TV With Sky reception and DVD/CD music system. A selection of books, CDs, movies and games mean boredom is not an option! The thoroughly modern kitchen is ideal for cooking up a treat, the dining area located next to the main terrace, making it very convenient if you want to barbecue outside and dine indoors.

The Costa Tropical region

Playa Granada is the sort of place that you could easily make yourself at home in for the length of your stay. At the same time, if exploring the area is more to your liking, you can rest assured that you are ideally located for any number of day trips. The fascinating Alpujarras villages are even closer to you than the beautiful, culturally rich city of Granada, home to the famous Alhambra Palace, last stand of the Moors.

Granada lies approximately 50 minutes from Playa Granada. In the same amount of time you could find yourself in Nerja, a longtime favourite destination and home to some excellent restaurants, bars and places of interest such as the humble local church and the stunning Balcon de Europa. The area enjoys a microclimate, subtropical in character, a warm and gentle 18 degrees in winter and an average of 25 degrees in summer.

The Salobrena area

The penthouse is situated approx. 5 minutes by car from both Salobrena and Motril, where you will find everything from fresh markets and boot sales to large supermarkets with convenient parking. Guests have full access to the large well-maintained swimming pool on site open mid June to mid September and there is also a health spa with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. A paddle tennis court is also available for residents. Swimmers and sun-worshippers preferring to paddle the surf and feel the sand under their toes are only a short stroll away from the beaches.

Salobrena is a charming castle-topped town with a delightful rabbit warren of picturesque streets in its old quarter. Motril is a bustling modern Spanish city with designer shops, great tapas bars, fine restaurants and a lively nightlife. Whether you are a large family or a group of friends, skiers, swimmers or golfers, we are confident that The Penthouse is a perfect backdrop for a relaxing, unforgettable holiday.

Guestbook for The Penthouse

Apartment was even better than we had expected and it looks good on the website. The views from the terraces are spectacular and we spent many a day just chilling out and drinking some great Spanish Cava. On arrival we were met by Heloise who showed us how everything worked and said we could call her with any problems - there were not any. The apartment is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. I found the main bed a bit hard but i am very fussy on beds. Other than that it was perfect and we will definatly be returning and will be bringing the kids next time

PS Sauna in the complex was really good and never busy

Really enjoyed the apartment. Very good size plenty of room we had 6 of us and were not cramped in at all. The Sun terraces are glorious , very private with lots of sun beds and a gas barbecue. Sky TV was good we had a problem at first as there are 3 remote controls for the various pieces of kit but soon worked it out. Loved the surrounding areas very Spanish and plenty of free tapas in the local restaurants. Have booked again for next year

Brilliant Apartment ,really relaxing and lots to do in the local area. The golf course is great with a really tricky Island hole that on the 4th attempt i managed to get right in the middle of the green. we loved the area and found some lovely and very reasonably priced restaurants. Will definatly go back

Had a great holiday the Apartment is superb with everything in it you could possible want. Fantastic views for the sun terrraces of the beach and mountain range. Terraces very private and not overlooked. Barbecue ran out of gas when we were there but Marti was on hand to sort it out. Thanks

Had a great time kids really enjoyed the pool and being so close to the sea. Beach was fairly busy at weekend mainly seemed to be Spanish but its a long beach so plenty of room. We really liked the apartment very nice indeed

Just had 1 week in the apartment for Skiing in Sierra Nevada. Snow is great and only 40 mins drive from the apartment to the ski slopes. Brilliant snow when we were there and some great runs and views
