Home description
Casa Mandarina comprises 320 square metres. It has been beautifully designed around a Moroccan theme and offers features such as a surround sound music system and state of the art kitchen. The sitting room is large measuring 30 ft x 30ft and leads into a large dining room with atrium. It has numerous terraces facing the sea and a large infinity pool. The house is in a quiet location on a no-through road. All the bedrooms are large doubles. Shops and beaches are a few minutes drive from the house. There is enough parking for two or three cars.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The Costa Tropical benefits from some of the best weather in Europe. It is warm for most of the year. Christmas 2006 people were swimming in the sea! It is possible in the winter to get a sun tan in the morning and go skiing in the Sierra Nevada in the afternoon. The house is just over an hour from the ski slopes. Summers are hot but the postion of the villa ensures that you have breezes throughout the day. Unlike many of The Costas, The Costa Tropical is unspoiled by mass tourism. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and soak up local culture. Granada and the Alhambra is less than an hour away.
Salobrena / Monte de Los Almendros area
Monte de los Almendros is one of the most sought after areas on the Costa Tropical. It is dominated by large, detached houses and has its own activity centre including tennis court, football pitch and swimming pool. From the house, Granada is a short distance as is the town of Almunecar. For full details of the area please ask. 'We just had to write to thank you for a wonderful holiday at Casa Mandarina. The villa is in a superb location and furnished to a high standard, it was a real home from home. We were blown away by the hidden gems in the villa; old doors, wonderful pieces of furniture yet beautifully combined with hi-tech appliances and services. We almost stole the huge bed in the master bedroom - we haven't slept so soundly in year! And to top it all, we had seven glorious days of unbroken sunshine and a full moon on our last evening at the villa. The view from the master bedroom each morning and the fishing boats under the the full moon last night will stay with us for a long time.' The Foster family June 2007.
