The Costa Tropical of Granada is renowned for it's year round warm climate, and the penthouse's unique location is such that the view from the terraces includes both the back drop of the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada, the sea at Playa Granada beach, whilst overlooking the tenth hole of Los Moriscos Golf Club.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region

The Costa Tropical of Granada enjoys it's own micro climate, sub tropical in nature, providing all year round sun with a minimum 18 degrees in winter, and an average 25 degrees in summer.
The historic and culturally rich city of Granada, with the fabulous Alhambra Palace, is just a 45 minute drive away through the stunning Sierra Nevada region, with the fascinating Alpujarras villages even closer nearby.
The family friendly ski resort of the Sierra Nevada is only a one hour drive away, with the resort open from December to April. Ski equipment and lessons if required are readily available, with a wide range of runs open to suit all abilities. The resort itself is very well served by hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, and ski shops.


Salobrena / Playa Granada area

The area itself is relatively unspoilt and less well known than others on the Costa del Sol, with a more traditional Spanish feel, and indeed comprises many Spanish owned holiday homes and weekend retreats
Playa Granada is very close to Salobrena and Motril, and both are well served by all local amenities. Salobrena is an historic castle topped town surrounded by picturesque streets in it's old quarter, and with numerous restaurants and bars along it's extensive beach front. Motril is a more modern Spanish town, with it's large supermarket, designer shops, tapas bars and restaurants. Further along the coast are the nearby towns of Almunecar and Herradura, both very popular and well appointed tourist resorts. Nerja, perhaps the best known holiday destination, is now just 35 minutes away.
The penthouse apartment is adjacent to Los Moriscos Golf Club, with the clubhouse actually situated on the beach. Full driving range and practise facilities are also alongside. The golf operates on a pay and play basis, and it is recommended that any tee times be booked in advance, due to the golf club's increasing popularity.

Playa Granada beach is well appointed and is also only a short walk away from apartment. Other good quality beaches are nearby at Salobrena, Almunecar and Herradura, and there are numerous coves tucked away all along the interesting coast line. Almunecar also has it's own water park, ideal for the family.

Granada Airport is only a 45 minute drive away, and is serviced by Ryan Air.
Malaga Airport, which is utilised by numerous Airlines, including most budget flight operators such as Easy Jet & Ryan Air, is now 1 hour 10 minutes away. Almeria Airport is also well served by most airlines, and is 1 hour 30 minutes drive away.
Bravo Car Hire recommended, where you can reserve the vehicle online, paying on arrival. Within their selection, Auriga Crown are very competitive and offer a good service from both Granada and Malaga Airports.

The penthouse is a modern, very well equipped apartment, with full airconditioning/ central heating, polished terracota tiled floors, double glazed windows, ceramic tiled bathrooms and kitchen. In all the property comprises a floor plan of some 221 sq metres.
The spacious and light main lounge/ dining area has two sets of double doors that lead onto the main terrace. Both areas will comfortably seat eight, with the lounge equipped with flat screen satellite TV, with DVD and CD facilities. This living area is completely separate to the bedrooms.
The main double bedroom has it's own marble finished en suite bathroom as well as double doors leading to it's own private terrace. Bedroom two also has it's own private terrace. Both twin bedded rooms have hideaway beds, boosting the total possible occupancy to eight. There are two further bathrooms, which together with the en suite facilities gives a total of three baths/ showers, bides, and wc's.
The modern fully equipped kitchen also has it's own terrace, ideal for the BBQ, or indeed for separate dining. The kitchen comprises four ring electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker. Included is a breakfast bar and two stools. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen, that houses the washing machine and an extra sink.

The main terrace leading off the lounge/ dining area comprises over 45 sq metres, with ample space for both sun bathing and dining areas, and is fully equipped with patio furniture, sun loungers and planters.
Kitchen has it's own terrace, with BBQ provided.
The penthouse overlooks the health spa, with it's indoor plunge pool, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as the extensive general gardens, seating and terraces. The spa is staffed, with a booking reservation system when you are there, with a nominal charge.
To the front of the property are two outdoor swimming pools, open from June to September, and in addition two paddle tennis courts are also available for residents use. Paddle tennis equipment is available to use from the apartment.

We provide an English speaking meet and greet service, with a welcome pack included, to ensure that you are happily settled in and that your holiday runs as smoothly as possible.
The rental price includes all bed linen and towels (except beach towels) and the welcome pack will include items such as tea bags, milk, toilet rolls, soaps, etc.
Please note that we can also arrange additional accommodation within the same Playa Granada location, with all the same facilities available, should your holiday involve a larger family or group size than eight.


Conditions

A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable in full six weeks prior to arrival.
A refundable damages deposit of £150 is also required, and will be repaid once the property has been inspected at the end of the holiday.
