From the lounge there is direct access to the swimming pool and the large, sunny pool terrace. Bedroom 1 (double bed) with bathroom en-suite has a large private terrace with waterfall feature. Bedroom 2 (twin beds) with shower en-suite also offers a private terrace. Study 'nook' with a further single bed. Separate 3rd WC. Plenty of garden/terrace furniture available. Lock-up garage. This home has been completely renovated during 2009. As well as new floors through-out ,the brand new kitchen offers top quality built-in appliances and opens out to a covered breakfast terrace. The bathrooms have been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, including suspended wc's and anti-slip showers. With the views that always existed and the now luxury finishes this home is no doubt one of the best holiday rental on the Monte de los Almendros!

The Costa Tropical/Granada region

Known locally as the Costa Tropical de Granada the coastal strip around Salobrena enjoys a true microclimate due to the proximity of mainland Spain's highest mountains. The peaks of the Sierra Nevada effectively shield the coast from the excessive summer heat and winter cold experienced in inland Andalucia eg Granada, Seville & Cordoba where winter temperatures are often 8/10 degrees centigrade cooler.
The Costa Tropical is a small stretch of the Coast Line nestled in between the Costa del Sol and Costa Almeria, although only 60km in length it boasts some of the most beautiful coastline and beaches with breathtaking journeys along its jagged coastline enabling the more adventurous to find that perfect hide-away for soaking up some Mediterranean sun.
The Costa Tropical is rightfully named due to its sub-tropical climate which allows the cultivation of exotic fruits and crops such as avocadoes, mangoes, papaya, bananas and custard apples – crops you would usually associate with the Caribbean. This is because the Costa Tropical benefits from the Sierra Nevada mountain range protecting it during the winter from the cold extremities of mainland Spain. As a result, the Costa Tropical has exceptionally mild winters coupled with hot summers allowing the growth of such tropical fruits. On average, the Costa tropical has 320 days of sunshine annually.

Salobrena enjoys mainland Europe's warmest & sunniest winters yet incredibly, snow skiing is just 70 minutes drive away at the Sierra Nevada. Here you will find are some of the best sea and mountain views to be found anywhere and one of the prettiest marinas in the Mediterranean

The communal swimming pools, tennis court and recreation area are just a 2 minute walk from the house.
An 18 hole golf course at Motril is a 10 minute drive.
Excellent shopping facilities are available at Al Campo in Motril, a 10 minute drive.
Dolphins can been seen 'playing' in the sea below the house.
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada just an hours drive.
EUR 300 security deposit payable in cash on arrival. This will be returned at the end of your stay provided no damage has occured.


Conditions

If required, and at a very reasonable price, a food package (your specifications and cost) can be supplied so your holiday can begin immediately.
There is no set time nor date for arrivals and departures, this will depend on your reservation. For a relaxed departure we prefer not to accept arrivals on the same day as departures. This gives our visitors more flexibility on their final day and preparing for their departing flight. Should however departures and arrivals be on the same day we ask that the house be vacated before noon.
