This luxury home is situated on a sunny, south facing plot in a private estate above the truly Spanish town of Salobreña, which is considered to be the gem of the Costa Tropical. The villa has a light & airy design with lots of large windows so the amazing sea views & cobalt blue skies can be enjoyed throughout. The villa's name reflects its exceptional views to the sea, mountains and the Moorish castle of Salobrena.
This holiday villa rental is great for a large group as it can sleep 9 people and with its covered porch, roof top terrace & poolside terraces, there is space for everyone! You will be comfortable here no matter what time of year you come as we have both central hot and cold air conditioning and a heated pool. Safety enclosures can be placed around the pool to ensure young children don't enter without adult supervision. Everyone will love relaxing in the hot tub!

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The historic city of Granada with the spectacular Alhambra Palace is only 45 minutes away. The small mountain villages of the Alpujarras are well worth exploring. Other places of interest include Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its beautiful harbour and Nerja with its underground caves. Our guests love this area because it is still Spanish and very much unspoilt. It is how the Costa del Sol used to be before it was overdeveloped. This is the right place to come to get a true taste of Spain.
Salobrena / Monte de Los Almendros area
Salobreña is located in the colourful and warm south of Spain, in the region of Andalucia and more specifically in the province of Granada. Apart from the Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada mountains, the province of Granada is famous because here you receive free tapas with any drink. This is a great way to sample the delicious local food.
Salobreña is part of the still relatively virgin Costa Tropical.
The appeal of Salobreña and the Costa Tropical in general is that they haven't been spoiled by overdevelopment and mass tourism. The Spanish character has been preserved here. Salobreña doesn't have the international reputation of some of its coastal neighbours on the Costa del Sol, such as Marbella, Puerto Banus or even Nerja, but it's an ideal holiday destination for the discerning tourist.
If you want a relaxing vacation, good beaches, blue skies, sun, a wealth of leisure activities and a taste of the real Spain then you've come to the right place.
How to get there
AIRPORTS: The closest airports to Salobrena are in Granada, Malaga and Almeria. GRANADA airport is 45 minutes from our villa. However, the majority of our guests use MALAGA airport as there are hundreds of flights daily from all over Europe. Malaga airport is less than an hour away from our villa. Almeria is around 75 minutes away.
CAR RENTAL We have an agreement with a several car hire companies that offer our clients a 10 to 15 % discount. Please ask us for details upon booking so you can take advantage of this savings.

Further details indoors: Upon entering this holiday villa, you encounter a spacious, open plan living and dining area and fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, with double height cathedral ceiling, a 4.4 metre sliding glass door and 9 glass block windows high up on the surrounding walls that allow the beautiful cobalt blue skies of Andalusia to be enjoyed even from inside.
This living area connects to a large terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast or a drink while enjoying the stunning views. The master bedroom with large en-suite bathroom featuring a round corner tub and walk-in shower as well as his and hers sinks is also situated on this level. Lastly, there is also a large utility room containing the washing machine and tumble dryer. Magnificent views can be enjoyed from every corner of this level of the house, even the kitchen! A flight of stairs leads up to the roof-top terrace, from which the views are again breathtaking.
The lower level of this family holiday villa offers a queen size bedroom with large French doors that lead directly onto the pool terrace and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and his and hers sinks, two twin bedrooms, one that sleeps 2 with 2 windows to enjoy the fabulous sea views, and another that can sleep up to 3 people. A full bathroom for the use of the 2 twin bedrooms with easy access from the pool is also located on this level, which gives access to the covered porch, summer kitchen, pool and sunny terraces.
