Terrazas del Mar is a brand new, minimalist style villa with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Salobrena. This self catering accommodation has 7 terraces, each with breathtaking open sea views, a private heated pool and an outdoor hot tub. The villa has central cold and hot air conditioning with individual thermostats in each room so everyone can select the temperature that is ideal for them.
What makes this house so unique is the fact that it is situated 15 metres above street level. Don't worry there is a lift! The original plot was a steep rock, which has been cleared at various levels to accommodate the villa. The result is a fabulous split level home that offers absolutely stunning sea views due to its soaring and dominant position on the hillside. The villa is great for adults or families with older children since each of the 3 bedrooms is on its own level and has its own en suite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have private terraces. The 3 terraces that surround the pool are very spacious (220 metres in total) and can easily accommodate everyone. The heated pool is 7 metres long and ranges from 3.2 to 4 metres in width. The hot tub has 2 recliners and seating for 4 additional people. You emerge from the hot tub feeling relaxed and revitalised at the same time. It is medicinal!

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The historic city of Granada with the spectacular Alhambra Palace is only 45 minutes away. The small mountain villages of the Alpujarras are well worth exploring. Other places of interest include Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its beautiful harbour and Nerja with its underground caves. Our guests love this area because it is still Spanish and very much unspoilt. It is how the Costa del Sol used to be before it was overdeveloped. This is the right place to come to get a true taste of Spain.
Salobrena / Monte de Los Almendros area
The beautiful beaches of the Costa Tropical, restaurants and shops are only 5 minutes away affording you the best of both worlds - close proximity to everything yet truly peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Less than a 5 minute walk from the villa is the community recreational area. Our guests have free use of all of the facilities including a large communal pool, children's pool, playground, tennis, table tennis, football pitch and even a basketball hoop. This is a great place for children to socialise with other kids and to use up their excess energy!
How to get there
AIRPORTS: The closest airports to Salobrena are in Granada, Malaga and Almeria. GRANADA airport is 45 minutes from our villa. However, the majority of our guests use MALAGA airport as there are hundreds of flights daily from all over Europe. Malaga airport is less than an hour away from our villa. Almeria is around 75 minutes away.
CAR RENTAL We have an agreement with a several car hire companies that offer our clients a 10 to 15 % discount. Please ask us for details upon booking so you can take advantage of this savings.

Further details indoors: The layout of the villa is as follows. From the road, you enter a private garage with a lift. The lift opens onto the open plan, living room & kitchen. There are 2 terraces here, one with a gas barbeque & a table for 6. There is also a cloak room on this level. Up a flight of stairs is the 1st bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed, an en suite bathroom & a private terrace.
There is a utility room with a washer & tumble dryer on this level. Six steps lead up to the master bedroom & to the door that leads to the pool. Note: The access to the pool terrace is separate from the master bedroom. The spacious master bedroom has a super king size bed & large french doors that open onto a private terrace. The views from the master bedroom, bathroom & terrace are truly awe-inspiring. The Moorish castle of Salobrena and the mountains can be seen. The castle is illuminated at night. It is a shame to close the blinds even in the evening! 8 steps lead up to the 3rd bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobes & an en suite bathroom.
The villa is a 3 minute walk to the community recreational area where you´ll find a large pool, separate children's pool, playground, tennis court, table tennis, football pitch and even a basketball hoop. Our guests have unlimited complimentary use of these facilities. The closest beach is 5 minutes away and the nearest golf course is less than 10 minutes by car.
Fully air conditioned, Satellite TV (Sky), Wireless broadband internet access (WIFI), plenty of books and games.
Further details outdoors: Gas Barbeque, heated pool and luxurious hot tub, and lots of comfortable outdoor furniture for al-fresco dining!
