This new Spanish villa is a delight to the senses. The views to the sea are uninterrupted and can be enjoyed from both inside and outside the villa, although the best place to enjoy them is from the infinity pool and the tropical garden and relaxation areas that surround the pool. You can relax to the sound of the water falling into the pool from the pretty terracotta pots that are part of the unique rock cascades that are built into the sides of the pool. You can sit back and enjoy all of this beauty from the entertainment area with built in seating and colourful and comfortable cushions.
This is the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset or star gaze. There is a covered area with a chill-out bed, which is the ideal place to stay cool while enjoying a siesta! Al fresco dining is very easy with the built in barbeque, sink and simple outdoor kitchen. After a week or two here, we are sure you will be completely relaxed and rejuvenated and won´t want to leave!
This villa was designed and built with extreme care and attention to the detail. There isn´t a detail that has been overlooked. This is a fantastic example of the best of traditional Spanish design combined with all of the elements of a modern, high tech home. It is illuminated in the evening so it is as pretty at night as it is by day. There are automatic sun blinds, mosquito screens on the windows and a double garage so your car will stay clean and cool. If you are looking for a luxurious and peaceful setting, then ´El Palacete,´ meaning the little palace, is the ideal spot!

From the road, you descend one flight of stairs to enter into the villa. At the entry level there are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin room), each with their own bathroom. There is access to a large terrace, where you can enjoy the spectacular views to the sea and the hillside where the goats often come to graze. The spacious, master bedroom also has access to this terrace. The master bathroom is truly luxurious. It features tumbled marbled, his and her sinks, a walk-in shower and a large round Jacuzzi with a skylight above it so you can see the stars.
Downstairs is the main living area of the villa. The living room and dining room are combined and they feature a pretty stone wall with a built in, fireplace and a flat screen TV. No expense has been spared to create a very stylish, high tech environment yet to make it warm and inviting at the same time. There is both direct and indirect lighting so you can create the perfect atmosphere if you are enjoying a romantic meal or just watching TV. There are large windows and French doors here so you can enjoy the views to the sea, the garden and the pool area. Off of the lounge is a wrap around covered porch for those moments when you want to be outdoors but in the shade.
The eat in kitchen also has access to the covered porch and pool area. Having the kitchen so close at hand to the pool and barbeque area is very convenient for outdoor dining. There is a utility room with a washing machine. There are lines outside for you to dry your clothes. With the sun here, they will dry in no time at all.
At the level of the road (yet with no visibility to the road or noise as this is a small side street of a private urbanization where at most 5 cars pass by daily) there is an amazing double bedroom with extraordinary sea views, cathedral wood paneled ceiling and an en suite bathroom.
Satellite TV (Sky and many other languages), Air con in the lounge and all of the bedrooms, and lots of books and games!

The Costa Tropical region


The historic city of Granada with the spectacular Alhambra Palace is only 45 minutes away. The small mountain villages of the Alpujarras are well worth exploring. Other places of interest include Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its beautiful harbour and Nerja with its underground caves. Our guests love this area because it is still Spanish and very much unspoilt. It is how the Costa del Sol used to be before it was overdeveloped. This is the right place to come to get a true taste of Spain.
The Salobrena / Monte de Los Almendros area
The beautiful beaches of the Costa Tropical, restaurants and shops are only 5 minutes away affording you the best of both worlds - close proximity to everything yet truly peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Less than a 5 minute walk from the villa is the community recreational area. Our guests have free use of all of the facilities including a large communal pool, children's pool, playground, tennis, table tennis, football pitch and even a basketball hoop. This is a great place for children to socialise with other kids and to use up their excess energy!

AIRPORTS: The closest airports to Salobrena are in Granada, Malaga and Almeria. GRANADA airport is 45 minutes from our villa. However, the majority of our guests use MALAGA airport as there are hundreds of flights daily from all over Europe. Malaga airport is less than an hour away from our villa. Almeria is around 75 minutes away.
CAR RENTAL
We have an agreement with a several car hire companies that offer our clients a 10 to 15 % discount. Please ask us for details upon booking so you can take advantage of this savings.
