The apartment doesn't have a lake view but is very characteristic and about 20 paces from the ferry stop, meaning you can hop on, visit other lakeside towns and return to your rental apartment without ever having to use a car.

The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area
Lake Garda is Italy's largest lake and has superb watersports, theme parks a short drive away and picturesque, sophisticated lake side towns.
Salo area
Salo is one of the largest towns on the lake and is lively in summer and winter, yet is not overly touristy, most visitors being Italian. There are museums, art galleries, theatre during the summer as well as some fantastic shops, bars and restaurants. You could eat out every night and never get bored with the choice. The ferry stop is also just 20 paces from the apartment, meaning you can visit lots of other towns around the lake such as Malcesine, Torri del Benaco, Riva, Bardolino and Sirmione, then sail back in the evening to your rental apartment for dinner and an evening stroll.
