Outside staircase with handrail on both sides leads up to a stable door entrance at 1st floor level. Very spacious, light-flooded, open plan, double height living room comprising sitting and dining areas in the middle of the room, a neat fitted kitchen area at one end and a kingsize bed beneath an 'oriel' window at the other. Separate shower room/wc.

Paved patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. Access to other parts of the owners' beautifully landscaped, riverside garden.

Salisbury

If you feel like exploring the surrounding area, Salisbury, with its magnificent Cathedral and Close, charter market and extensive range of shops, pubs and restaurants, is only three miles away, while the small country road running close to Avon Turn, will take you to the New Forest boundary in about 15 minutes. For a day's excursion, Winchester, Bath, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat and the Hampshire/Dorset coastline are all reachable in an hour or less.
