The owners met me at the train station, welcomed me warmly, pointed things out on the drive to the apartment and explained things at the apartment. Pleasant décor, and a nice touch to include original paintings by the owner. The apartment is clean and spacious. It was completely renovated to modern standards in 2007. Vanity table inside bedroom closet. Flat-screen TV. Kitchen bar with stools. Microwave. Gas cooktop, electric oven, small fridge. Ironing board and iron. Good lighting. Shower works well. Thoughtful items: kitchen hand towel, wall clock, chair at front door to sit on while putting shoes on, many tourist brochures, drapes and blinds for windows, mending kit.... Quiet residential street in East Harnham area. My only regret was lack of internet access – and I understand that wireless has now been installed! There is no phone line. The owner was prompt and responsive to my feedback, which is appreciated and commendable. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return sometime. Highly recommended. |
