Situated in the heart of Salisbury St Ann's Forge is a stone's throw from the famous Cathedral, located in Cathedral Close where you will also find Mompesson House and The Salisbury & Wiltshire Museum. The town centre can be reached by a 5 minute walk where you will find a lovely selection of shops, restaurants and traditional English pubs and a market every Tuesday and Saturday from 08:00-16:00 that has been held since the year 1227, in the 15th century the Market Place was dotted with stone crosses marking the centres for certain trades and goods. Today only the Poultry Cross remains, to which flying buttresses were added in 1852. Other nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Stourhead Gardens to name a few.
