The Central Southern England region
The cottage is set in Bentley Woods - an area of Scientific Special Interest due to the birds and rare butterflies and hundreds of acres of ancient natural woodlands. Near to Farley, Pitton, the River Test and Salisbury, the New Forest too, we are perfect for rural getaways.
Bentley Woods are known as a 'Walkers Paradise', with many butterflies in abundance in June and July. Home to the "Purple Emperor", an extremely rare species of butterfly, they encourage people from all over the country to explore the vast woods at this time of year. Well situated to serve as a Salisbury Holiday Cottage.
