Spacious and light four bedroom house with large private swimming pool for sole use of guests Wide Roman steps and shallow end - good for children. Half acre garden - Set in beautiful countryside, tranquil location along country lane leading to ramblers trails. Easy walk to town centre (15 minutes). Ideal for families. Open plan dining room/lounge area opens directly on to big open deck area which overlooks the pool and surrounding countryside - wonderful for "al fresco" dining and nature watching.....3 double bedrooms are also on this level with bathroom (bath/shower, handbasin and bidet) and separate w.c.. Upstairs is a "suite" with large bedroom (extra kingsize bed) and adjoining (very large)bathroom with bath/shower, handbasin, w.c. and bidet. Mezanine with play area suitable for children. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. All amenities closeby.......supermarket (2 minutes), numerous shops, excellent restaurants and well known thermal spa of Salies de Bearn.

Beautiful Pyrénées Atlantique.........Salies de Bearn is located within one hour of Pyrénées mountains with wonderful alpine walks and breathtaking scenery and the same distance from the resorts along the Atlantic coast - elegant Biarritz or sporty Hossegor. San Sebastian in Spain is just a little further to the south....great place to visit for tapas and "La Concha" beach. Sauveterre de Bearn is just 10 minutes by car....try river rafting, fishing or just go for a swim in the crystalline water arriving from the mountains. Local markets every day. Many historical sites to visit in the area.

The Salies de Bearn area

Salies de Bearn has a beautiful historical centre which bursts in to life on market day - Thursday. Try the treatments at the well known thermal spa........discover the magical history surrounding the importance of salt to the town....guided visits available from the tourist office. Many excellent restaurants....bars with terraces.....some overlooking the golf course or the river that runs by the ancient church.
