Villa Faré Marie is built on vast grounds and enjoys lovely panoramic views over the rolling countryside and the villages of Tourtour and Villecroze in peaceful surroundings.

South-facing and spacious accommodation with reversible air conditioning, the house id decorated with high quality materials and has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. The fabulous conservatory adjoining the kitchen allows you to be out of the hot hot sun yet still invigorated by the beauty of the surroundings. The grounds are fantastically Provence, planted with typical Mediterranean plants and Olive trees.

The shady dining terrace boasts its own age old Olive tree.
In this relaxing Mediterranean setting you will not want to go elsewhere, from the poolside to the massive grounds there is plenty to while away the holidays.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

The Var department is situated west of its famous neighbour Côte d’Azur. With its beautiful landscape of both mountains and sea and its sunny Mediterranean weather it is a popular holiday destination all year round.
Along its 300-km long coast, you will find some stylish seaside resorts like glitzy St Tropez and Ste Maxime, as well as some smaller but equally beautiful and charming resorts like Bandol or Le Lavandou.

The beautiful Iles d'Or (Porquerolles, Ile du Levant and Pors Cros) are also well worth a visit and can be reached by boat from La Tour Fondue near Hyères. Inland, you will find delightful and unspoilt hilltop villages, green oak forests and further to the north, the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon with its many water sports and activities. A visit to the Abbaye du Tholonet while the monks sing their evensong can be a most relaxing break from the bustling beaches.

The Var region is particularly well known for its Rosé wine and a good fresh Bandol is well worth a meal in a seafront restaurant. The local Gastronomy is bursting with fresh herbs and full provencal flavours.

Salernes area

Salernes, known for its pottery making, is located in the Bresque valley, about 20 km west of Draguignan and 45 km from the beaches of Ste Maxime, St Aygulf and Fréjus. Nice airport is just 90 mns away. Nestled on the hillside and sheltered from the wind, Salernes benefits from warm Mediterranean climate.

Close to the Verdon gorges with plenty of water sports, warm lakes and bathing holes. Salernes is one of the so sought after villages of the Var.

Closest airport: Nice - 1 and a half hours.
Budget airline: Easy jet.
Marseille airport - 2 hours, Easy jet and Ryan air.

Ferries from the Marseille to other mediterranean countries such as Tunisia, Italy,
Italy 2 hours.

Local transport - bus service runs along most of the coast and to Salernes from Nice, Frejus and Draguignan.

Included in the rates: Sheets, tea towels and towels supplied.
Not included: Obligatory cleaning fee of 120€.

The house is for a maximum of 9 persons.
