"A definite taste of paradise!"
Wow – there are no words! What a fantastic place!
My 10 friends and I decided to take a trip to the south of France in September and our 7 day chill out at Lei Chambris did not disappoint.
From the moment we arrived my friends and I were in absolute awe of the place.
We were greeted by the lovely, ever so smiley owner, Pamela Lowther- who gave us the low down and tour of her wonderful Lei Chambris.
A few of us stayed in the Bastide whilst the others spread out to the poolside studio and the log cabin in the wood.
The rooms were lovely and clean and cozy. The studio and cabin were really homely and had their own little kitchens and nick nacks.
The group had an absolute blast hanging out by the pool and checking out the local villages a couple of minutes drive up the road, where there were restaurants with great food and loads of sites to see. Tour Tour is a must visit with the most amazing scenery and old stone buildings and uber cute little coffee shops.
We opted for the basic self catering hire package- and hired the entire domain for a week. Whilst we were there we took advantage of some of the optional activities Lei Chambris had to offer- one of which was a trip to a local vineyard, which was so much fun. We went back with a couple of bottles of wine for the Lei Chambris pizza evening that we booked, where a charming chap came and cooked the group lip-smackingly good pizzas in the alfresco stone oven, whilst we dined under the stars on the terrace.
As the week drew to a close, none of us wanted to leave but we have all decided to go back again the same time next year.
The Lei Chambris trip was definitely my favorite holiday to date and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone who is after the most perfect group holiday.
We are so happy that the group had such a great time
