Home description
The apartment is split over 2 floors - ground and first floor . There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious open plan split level kitchen/ dining/living room. The apartment has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
You enter the apartment on the ground floor where there is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room. You carry on up the stairs to the first floor and straight into the living room. The further bedrooms and bathroom are off the living room.
The front patio, which has a sea view, can be accessed either from the living room or from the double bedroom. This patio has table and chairs for 6 people and is a great place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning sun. The private rear patio garden gets the afternoon sun and is accessed via the first floor twin room or direct from the garage. The rear garden also has a table and chairs and sun loungers.
At the rear of the property is the Coast Vicentina National Park. A 50 metre walk from the property through the pine trees is an uninterupted view of the National Park with its fantastic coastal walks and secluded beaches.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
Salema is 15 Kms west of the bustling town of Lagos and 15 kms east of Sagres, on the edge of the Costa Vincentina National Park. It is an unspolit traditional Portugese fishing village with a fabulous safe sandy beach.
There are fantastic coastal walks to secluded beaches that can only be accessed by foot.
Salema area
Salema has several excellent bars and restaurants. There are a couple of small supermarkets within walking distance for essentials and a well stocked supermarket and bakery is 5 minutes drive away in Budens. Local acitivites include surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking and off road motor biking.
Parque da Floresta golf and spa resort is a five minute drive inland. This is a very challenging golf course with excellent amenities such as large pool and spa complex, tennis courts and bowling greens.
Boavista golf is 10 minutes drive and Palmares golf is 20 minutes drive.
There are several interesting places to visit from Salema. On the west coats are many stunning wild beaches well worth a visit. To the east you can visit the Monchique mountains where the views out to the coast are spectacular.
Also within half an hours drive there is a water park and marine zoo which make a lovely day out for all the family.
How to get there
By air to Faro - Salema is an hours drive from Faro airport.
There are many car hire companies operating out of Faro airport at competitive prices. Try www.travelsupermarket.com for competitive quotes.
You can also catch the ferry to Santander/Bilbao and the drive takes approx 12 hours. We usually take 2 days and have an overnight stay en route.

At the rear of the property there is a private patio garden for the afternoon sun with a shaded area if required. There is also a table and chairs and sun beds for the use of our guests.
There is ample off road parking and a secure garage area if required.
Further details
All linen, towels and beach towels are supplied and we supply a welcome pack to all our guests so they can have hot or cold drinks and snack on arrival.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking. The final 50% is required 4 weeks before arrival together with £100 returnable deposit to cover damage or breakages.
