About the home

Whether you are looking for a relaxed 'away from it all' holiday in a beautiful unspoilt location within easy distance of tiny hidden beaches, or action packed surfing on some of the worlds renounced surfing beaches, Casa Limoero will offer you the opportunity to benefit from both in a beautiful typical Portuguese home.

Casa Limoero, completely private by means of its walled courtyard offers a lot of space for 4 people and room for an additional person in a bunk. The large welcoming kitchen entered through French doors, is fully equipped with oven, hob, dish washer, microwave, juicer, coffee maker & fridge freezer. It is has an excellent log burner for winter evenings.

The large sitting room is very comfortably furnished, again with open fire has a lovely spacious yet cosy feel with the addition of a ceiling fan. The TV has channels in various languages, as well as a DVD, Hi-Fi Cd player numerous games and books.

Main Bedroom (twins or 1 king) is of a comfortable size with large working fireplace, a TV (multi-lingual cable) and ceiling fan, built in cupboard.

2nd Bedroom double bed built in cupboard, TV and DVD player, bookshelves.
Shower room with WC and Vanity.
2nd Bedroom has French door to outside terrace.
Utility room outside equipped with all laundry requirements and a washing machine. Cushions for outside chairs.
Outside there is a Barbecue with a table and chairs, covered table and benches, as well as more comfortable chairs.
The herb garden is at the bottom of the lemon tree that is in the centre of the courtyard and waterfall. Stairs will take you to a beautiful roof terrace with loungers.

There are two double bedrooms, one of which is a King & can be made into 2 twins.
A fifth person can be accommodated in a single bunk style bed - please ask if you require further clarification.
We have a German and English speaking representative who lives nearby to help make you holiday as smooth as possible. We also have a visitors book to help provide you with information on local restaurants, amenities, activities and emergency contacts.

Further details outdoors:
The walled courtyard is completely private with a large built in typical barbecue with generous seating around a very old and prolific lemon tree and waterfall. There is additional covered seating area offering shade at the peak of the hot weather. The small roof terrace is the perfect quiet spot to sunbathe or read.

The courtyard is not a grassed area, therefore not considered as a garden for children to play in. The roof terrace is up some steep steps and we would advise if you have children to be cautious. There is a gate if there are any problems with this please let our representative know immediately. The bunk in the hall above the office desk is approached by a ladder and will not be suitable for young children.

Further details

At the time of booking we ask for a refundable damage security deposit of £300.00. The rental monies become due 12 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Although we can rent the property out for less than a week they may be an additonal surcharge.

We have an English & German speaking representative who can help you with any queries that you may have whilst away.

All bedding and towels are provided. The property is cleaned before and after your visit by our manager, but we do ask that you leave it in a good manor when you depart.

Conditions

Please also note that a surcharge may be applied for all bookings that are less than a week. This is strictly a no smoking house and we do not allow pets.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

This area is located on the edge of the Costa Vicente Nature Reserve and has heavy restrictions on development. This is also to specifically protect the beautiful wildlife that can be seen around the whole area.

The Western Algarve is traditionally very hot and dry in the summer months and cooler with higher rainfall in the winter months, thus allowing for beautiful lush vegitation during spring and early summer.

There are many local beaches some of which are hidden away and only approached by foot and others which are a short car journey are vast open blankets of beautiful sand.

The Salema area

Figueira has 3 restaurants and a minimarket, there are several small towns and fishing villages nearby which offer an additional range of restaurants and supermarkets. There is a large Euromarket at Budens just 5 minutes drive.

Surfing, which is most popular on the West coast, is within easy reach by car and there are many tournaments throughout the year. Parque da Floresta Leisure resort is 1km away, offering many activities from tennis, golf, bowls, archery to a health spa. There are many varied and beautiful beaches for all different pass times Martinal has a lovely restaurant and is where you can rent windsurfers & go kayaking.
