Underfloor heating and air conditioning are standard throughout.

This modern private complex comprises of just 55 deluxe villas and townhouses centred around a large free form outdoor swimming pool which also has a separate children's pool, spacious sun terrace. Guests staying at 'The View' can also enjoy discounted green fees at the nearby famous Parque da Floresta Golf & Leisure Resort. The beach, restaurants and amenities and are all within a few minutes walk, but a car is advised for those wishing to explore the surrounding area. It is presented as an ideal holiday home for families, couples and golfers.

The property is designed with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and living accommodation on the first floor to make the most of the superb views. On the first floor is a spacious open plan living/dining area with comfortable seating for 4 people in both areas. There is also a wood burning fire and sliding doors leading to a fully furnished balcony which includes a gas BBQ for al fresco dining. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern De Dietrich appliances and is well equipped.

On the ground floor are 2 comfortable bedrooms, the master with large double bed and an en suite bathroom which includes a luxury Jacuzzi bath and a twin bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Both bedrooms have ample storage facilities and sliding doors which lead to the ground floor terrace and garden area. There is also a digitally operated safe in the master bedroom.

To ensure your comfort all year round, as well as a wood burning fire, the property has dual air conditioning/heating and under floor heating is standard throughout.

The large balcony leading from the lounge area is fully furnished with table and chairs and gas BBQ for alfresco dining. The ground floor terrace leads onto a small beautifully lawned garden area which is furnished with sunbeds for your relaxation. Please do not take these to the pool or beach. External steps lead to the rooftop terrace where panoramic views of the Algarve coastline can be enjoyed, although there are great views from every level of this property!

A parking space is also provided for this property.

The complex has a large free form swimming pool and a separate chidren's pool which is heated throughout the summer season.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive no earlier than 3pm and vacate before 10am on the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed).

Towels and linen are provided, but not beach towels. A change of linen and towels will be provided at the end of each week.

Cots & high chairs can be hired for an extra charge subject to availability. Please request in advance at time of booking.

The Algarve region

The Western Algarve is widely regarded as home to some of the best beaches in Europe. It is an area of stunning natural beauty with rugged mountain landscapes and coastlines frilled with rocky coves and fantastic sandy beaches, providing a treasure trove of secluded bathing spots and scenic walks, often unsignposted and hidden from the road by high sand dunes making every one an amazing discovery for the intrepid explorer.

Needless to say this sun-drenched coastline is perfect for outdoor pursuits such as tennis, horse riding and bird-watching. It is a haven for watersports enthusiasts who enjoy yachting and windsurfing and a true golfers paradise with numerous championship golf courses on offer. But for those of you who simply want to relax and unwind, the Algarve's almost tropical climate boasts over 3,000 hours of sunshine each year making it ideal for sun worshippers.

And for those of you interested in the regions rich culture and history you won't be disappointed. Discover quaint villages set on the seafront or tucked away in the hills, the charming walled port of Lagos with its handsome marina and 17th century Fort, the lovely spa town of Caldes de Monchique is well worth a visit and ancient Silves with its Moorish castle. Further west lies the historic town of Sagres and cliff top Cape St Vincent, Europe's most southerly point amongst many, many more.


Salema is a small traditional Western Algarve fishing village nestled in a secluded bay with calm blue waters surrounded by dramatic sun baked ochre cliffs. It lies midway between Sagres and Lagos, just over an hours drive from Faro International airport.

An unspoilt jewel in Portugal's Algarve Coast, Salema is set in an area of stunning natural beauty offering holiday makers a perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy its sandy beaches, restaurants, cafe's, bars and shops. It has a wide, sheltered bay making the long stretch of beach ideal for swimming and water sports. Like many of the beaches along this stretch of coast, it has 'Blue Flag' status and was voted the 2nd best beach in Portugal by a European Travel magazine. On the beach you will find plenty of shaded sunbeds and traditional brightly coloured fishing boats with their catches of bream, mackerel, sardines and sea bass often appearing in the local restaurants the same day.

Salema has several bars and restaurants with even more just a short drive away, all offering wonderful freshly cooked food at affordable prices served with warm local hospitality. For your self catering needs, there are two small supermarkets which cater for most, if not all, of your basic needs. The friendliest is Romero's located right next to the Boia Bar. There is a larger supermarket (Intermarche) in nearby Budens (2kms), Lidl in Vila Bispo and several more just 12 km away in Lagos. Taxis are available next to the phone box in the square and there is an hourly bus service to Lagos or Sagres.

The Parque da Floresta Golf and Spa Resort is only 2km away (5min drive) which offers superb all year round facilities and has everything you could wish for in the way of fun activities for all the family including an18-hole championship golf course with 30% discount off green fees for guests staying at 'The View 1'. There is also an ATM machine and a foreign currency exchange service at the Reception.

The historical town of Lagos is just a short 15 minute drive away and well worth a visit during your stay. As the third largest town in the Algarve, it straddles the river Bensafrim and is surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt countryside. Lagos is a lively, cozy town with a maze of winding cobbled streets full of pavement restaurants, local cafés, bars, antique and art shops, and what must be one of Portugal's best stocked fish markets! It is also rich in culture and history and is widely regarded as the most charming town of the Algarve.
