About the home
Perrotts is approached from the rear driveway, large patio doors open into an open plan, vaulted lounge and dining area, with long windows flooding the room with light. A striking feature fireplace with a gas fuelled stove provides warmth for those chilly nights, with three sofas providing plenty of seating with a large flat screen TV, VHS and DVD with cinema system providing entertainment.
The dining area has an oak dining table and chairs that seat 10 and further patio doors give access to the large paved terrace. The adjoining kitchen is very well equipped with a range cooker with 7 gas burners and two ovens, a dishwasher, microwave and large American style fridge freezer with ice dispenser. A spiral staircase winds up to a flag stoned lobby, off which there is a utility room with washer dryer and sink leading through to a sumptuous family bathroom with bath and hand held shower, hand basin and WC. From the lobby a door opens into the original hallway and front door, off which is the second lounge/TV room with 2 sofas, a feature open fire and flat screen TV and DVD.
On the other side of the hall is the study/occasional bedroom, with sofa bed, feature fireplace and desk with connection to broadband. Stairs lead up to the landing with on one side a large double bedroom overlooking the front garden with king size bed. Another double bedroom with king size bed and views over the garden and countryside has an en suite shower room with hand basin and WC. A large family shower room separates the two bedrooms and has a shower, hand basin and WC. At the rear of the house are two further bedrooms. One is a large double with another king size bed, views over the surrounding hills and an en suite shower room with hand basin and WC. Finally, there is a cosy twin bedroom with two 3’ single beds and a hand basin.
Outside: A sunny paved patio with steps down to an al fresco dining area, furnished with wonderful driftwood table and bench seating. Barbecue area and entrance to sauna room. Steps or path lead up to the front garden and extensive lawns surround the house, with established trees, shrubs and planted borders as well as lovely views of the surrounding hills and countryside.

Security Deposit

Cheques will be cashed and then refunded during the week after your stay.

Directions
M5 to West Country, then take the A38 Devon Expressway towards Plymouth, turning left at Buckfastleigh for Totnes (A384). At Totnes, take the A381 for Kingsbridge. At roundabout (Stumpy Post), turn right and follow signs for Salcombe. Continue following signs for Salcombe through Malborough. Continue following the road to Salcombe (A381), but on the outskirts of Salcombe, before the garage and surf shop on your right and the new estate on your left, look out for a turning left that decends quite steeply downhill. After about 200 yards, take the first left at Barton Hall Cross and look out for the first entrance on your left after approximately 25 yards that gives access to several properties, including Perrotts. Turn into this entrance, up a slope and Perrotts is the first property on the left with a five bar gate.

Very spacious property in a fantastic quiet location (about a 15 min walk from Salcombe centre). Large living/dining/kitchen area perfect for relaxing and leaving the kids to play without having to worry about where they are. Great size garden with a hot tub to truly relax! |
