The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old monastery of 1689 with a lovely lake view. La Mimosa is fashionably furnished and still has the characteristic wooden beam ceiling. The apartment is ideal for a holiday for two adults or two adults with 1 child or 2 children.
The apartment is featured with a large living room on the main road via Statale with lake view to the Isola Comacina, two sofa beds (suitable for children), satellite tv, fireplace, a separate dining area, a large double bedroom and a stylish bathroom with shower. The kitchen is very well equipped.
Holiday apartment La Mimosa also has a historical collective cloister that can be used to relax. Private parking not available.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Apartment La Mimosa is on lake Como which is in Lombardy near the Swiss border , north of Milan. Lake Como is 50 km long and is one of the most beautiful in Europe and is situated in a basin at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by lovely valleys. The shores of Lake Como alternate between picturesque villages leaning out on the water, gravel-sandy, grass or rocky small beaches, pleasure harbours and water sport areas for windsurfing, sailing and water skiing.
Sala Comacina area
Sala Comacina is located about 20km of Como and only 8 km of Menaggio at the Northwestern bank of the lake Como. Vis-à-vis, there is Isola Comacina - the only island in the lake. The famous Gothic bell tower of Ossuccio is found in the next village.
Swimming and tanning: Sala Comacina has a small sandy beach at the lake pier. The Lido of Ossuccio (beach) with a wonderful lawn at the bank is only 2 min. away. There are pretty hiking tracks crossing olive groves and leading to different churches.
