Comfortably sleeping 4 guests, this spacious home revels in its sunny position in the rustic lake side village of Sala Comacina. Famous for its island (and 7 course feast!) as well as an idyllic village centre that time has seemingly forgot!
2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin, dining area, off road parking space, private garden, fitted kitchen, immaculate bathroom and lake view. The apartment is part of a shared house (the accommodation here is the garden apartment with 1 apartment only upstairs). Perfectly positioned to reach all parts of the lake with near by villages such as Lenno for the beach and Argegno for the ferry.
Sala itself it a lovely village with restaurants, bars and a pretty lake front with bobbing boats, first class restaurant and lake access to the island.
Villa Balbianello and Carlotta are only a short drive to reach. Como, Milan, San Mortiz, Lugano are all trips easily accessible all year round making it an ideal vacation for Summer or even winter ski-ing with slopes 40 mins to 2 hours from your home!

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Lake Como is the ideal get away for rest and relaxation amidst a stunning lake and mountain back drop with world renowned food and wine.
What better way to immerse yourself with the local culture than to dine on the local island here just a short journey from your home, visit one of the stunning local villas such as Carlotta with it's majestic gardens, Balbianello (made famous by James Bond) or to take a boat ride or even hire your own boat to see the lake in all it's beauty close at hand!
Como with its pretty piazza's, Volta museum, 13th century Gothic cathedral and inviting lake front shops are not to be missed for the Italian village par excellence!
Sala Comacina area
Sala offers pretty bars, restaurants, lake front walks, bank plus is nestled between a beach and ferry village with supermarket and Chemist easily reachable.
The beach bar, just a 5 minute ride, in Lenno is ideal for relaxation with a superb golden sand man made beach, lake views, and cocktails brought to your from your favourite Italian waiter! At night the venue becomes a sophisticated night spot.
Bellagio, Menaggio, Cernobbio, Varenna and other pretty lake side villages are all available dotted around the lake. We will be happy to recommend our favourite places to visit, restaurants etc to help you get the most from your stay.
For those who like to cook up a treat in the kitchen, the local supermarket is just 5 minutes from the apartment with weekly markets for local, fresh produce. The park in nearby Ossuccio is also ideal for taking a stroll or sunbathing.
Milan football clubs are a little more than an hour away for the football fan whilst the annual september Monza Grand Prix is less than hour by car (accessible by rail also).
How to get there
Easy to access 1 hr 15 mins from Milan Malpensa and Linate airports. Add 30 mins for Bergamo.
