Zoca D'Oli is a sought after location set on the mountain side of Sala Comacina and is an ideal base from which to explore Lake Como. Como itself has a micro climate, providing Mediterranean summers and mild mountain winters. Sala Comacina further accentuates the quality of this climate and is best known for the production of olive oil along with its neighbouring village of Lenno, where one of the most northerly produced olive oils in Europe can be found. This luxury apartment boasts panoramic views of the Lake and of the historic Isola Sala comacina. The apartment is ideally situated to access all parts of the lake. There are many place to visit - for example the world renowned Villa Carlotta with it's internationally acclaimed gardens or the Villa Balbianello at the top of a peninsula where the movie James Bond (Casino Royal) was filmed. The village of Bellagio (the pearl of Lake Como) with it's restaurants and boutiques. Alternatively just relax and enjoy the view.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Como city is a wonderful place to stroll. The cathedral, narrow streets, markets and cafe's all offer a wonderful relaxing experience. The city is made famous by Volta, silk production and the oldest seaplane club in the world. Como City football club plays in the equivilant to our Championship league and standards are high. For something a little more pacey Milan is only 35 minutes away by train from Como City.
Visit Lake Garda, Verona, Maggoire, St Moritz and Lugano which are all within 2 hours drive.
Como offers a unique micro climate with medetarian conditions May - October.
Sala Comacina area
There are many place to visit locally- for example the world renowned Villa Carlotta with it's internationally acclaimed gardens or the Villa Balbianello at the top of a peninsula where the movie James Bond (Casino Royal) was filmed, the village of Bellagio (the pearl of Lake Como) with his restaurants and boutiques. Perhaps a bellini at Harry's bar in Cennobbio, or even a visit to Villa D'Este. All can be accessed through the extensive boat and ferry services.
Water skiing, boat hire, jet bikes, kayaks, bikes and even horse riding can all be provided locally. The Lake is so large you can literally cut your engine in the middle of the lake, have a picnic for an hour and not even drop anchor.
How to get there
The apartment is ideally situated for Milan's 3 airports, all serviced by most major scheduled and budget airlines form the UK. Linate 1 hour 30 mins. Malpensa 1 hour. Bergarmo 2 hours.

The apartment is suitable for people who have children- there is a small selection of toys and dvds for our guests use.The garden is fully enclosed and the apartment is all on one level.
Accessibility Unfortunately, this apartment is not suitable for the less mobile.
