Casa Matra Ponto is an historic village house of rustic charm recently refurbished and located in one of the most characteristic villages on the lake, 'Sala Comacina', situated just in front of the Island Comacina with its unique Roman history.
Laid out over three levels of 150 square metres and tastefully furnished to reflect a modern re-interpretation of its 300 year-old history, Casa Matra Ponto offers space for six guests (please note that there is only one bathroom) or romance for two.
Upstairs, the two bedrooms and bathroom offer comfort and convenience, whilst downstairs the home comprises kitchen with dining area, and separate sitting room.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
The Italian Lakes are a little slice of paradise. Elegant ribbons of blue water stretch out ahead, folded into the sun-baked foothills, with a spectacular back drop of the snow-capped Alps.
Warming, inspriing and graced with natural beauty, the lakes are still a place to draw breath and wonder. Lake Como, oriented north-south, ringed by characterful old villages often wedged onto narrow beaches between rugged cliffs and water.
Those classic lake images of flower strewn balconies, Baroque gardens and splendid waterside villas can be found here in abundance. Dotted around and between the lakes are some of Italy's finest art cities, such as Milan, Verona & Bergamo.

Cleaning Costs
There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included.
If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff

Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfer.
There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
