This lovely brand-new penthouse duplex in the heart of Sala Comacina, offers everything for the perfect holiday - free garage, lift access and lovely lake-view shared pool, panoramic lake views from every room and especially from the huge roof terrace equipped with sun loungers and BBQ for al-fresco dining.

It has been tastefully furnished to a very high standard by the exacting English owners. Laze by the pool, sun yourself on the roof terrace or explore the lovely village just 10 mins walk away, where you will find a public beach, several stunning restaurants, a water taxi service to the only island on the lake and both a ferry and bus service to all parts of the lake.

Lake Como has been famous and popular for centuries, due to its unrivalled beauty. The Sala Comacina area

Sala Comacina is a popular village on the western shore of Lake Como, about 25 minutes from Como town and 60 minutes from Milan Malpensa. It is well served by public transport with both bus and ferry stops.
There is a picturesque lakeside piazza from where you can hop on a romantic water taxi for the short trip to the only island on the lake (Isola Comacina and the famous restaurant 'La Locanda del Isola'). There is a good choice of restaurants for such a small village:

There is a small store, a weekly market, post office, bank and butchers. There is also a small local beach.
Catch a ferry to the rest of the lake or hop across to the island.

“Superb!” We stayed here with friends at the beginning of September and the apartment exceeded our expectations in every way! The views of the lake are simply stunning; the apartment itself is brand new, fully equipped,and tastefully decorated with furnishing that is both comfortable and stylish. The large terrace is a real bonus, fantastic for sunbathing, dining, barbecuing or just taking in the breathtaking views. Sala Comacina is perfectly located within easy reach of Argegno, Lenno, Tremezzo We thoroughly recommend a ferry trip from Tremezzo to Bellagio and an evening ferry trip from Sala itself to the Island of Comacino. A meal at the restaurant there is a unique experience-not cheap ( approx 65 Euros per head)- but the 5 course meal is delicious and the quirky coffee ceremony at the end makes for a great occasion. All in all the the apartment proved to be a great find and the perfect place to stay!

“Picturesque apartment - you won't want to leave” This apartment was easy to book and to access via hire car. The pictures really don't do the place justice - the apartment and the view are absolutely stunning and must be experienced first hand! Even though there were a few days of rain, the apartment allowed a cosy place to relax with free sat, blue ray DVD player and iPod docking station. The roof terrace provided the best location to sun bathe, and the smaller balcony was perfect for breakfast and mid-morning coffee as it catches the morning sun. The apartment is close to restaurants, shops and a water taxi to Isola Comacina - the only island in the middle of Lake Como and home to a delicious 5 course meal since 1947. The beautiful villages of Lenno and Argegno are nearby for exploring. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family holiday and I can't wait to return!
