Have a look at our website! Visit la-gorce.com . There are three buildings set around a courtyard: a grand manor decorated with fine antiques, a two-storey luxury 17th century stone cottage with one bedroom, and a single-storey luxury one-bedroom Bungalow, which was converted from a stone barn. At the back of the manor there is a 2 bedroom gite of 80 m2 called the atelier, for which this is the advert. The cottage, bungalow and atelier are available for lettings. The property was totally renovated in 2003-2007 under leading Parisian architect Jean-Pierre Sfez.
The homes are set amid three acres (over a hectare) of parkland, with many fruit trees including apples, cherries, figs, peaches, pears, kiwi fruit, passion fruit, walnuts and chestnuts. Guests may pick and eat as much fruit as they like. Guests also have the use of two bikes to ride around the surrounding vineyards, or down to the little village of Pessac-sur-Dordogne (2km) to buy morning croissants or rent a canoe to paddle down the river. Several supermarkets are only a five minute drive away.
The estate is ideally located for daytrips to Bordeaux (1h), St. Emilion (20 min.), Libourne (30 min.), Perigeux (30 min.) or Bergerac (30 min.). Visit one of the countless wine chateaus in the area. You can even buy wine for just over a euro per litre one km. away!

Sainte Foy-la-Grande / Velines area
- Visit the locally famous market in Ste. Foy-la-Grande for fresh produce. - Go to Bordeaux to shop and have lunch or diner in a smaller version of Paris. - Enjoy the wine tastings in one of the many wine shops in the beautiful town of St. Emilion, one of the wine capitals in the world! - Lots of restaurants are found within a ten minute drive.
Only a few kilometers away at St. Jean restaurant in Lamothe-Montravel you can have a five course meal for less than 17 euros, accompanied by a bottle of St. Emilion wine for less than 10 euros!

Cheap non-stop flights are available to Bergerac( 30km) or Bordeaux (60km).
Bergerac Airport is available direct from London Stansted, Nottingham and Liverpool with Ryanair. Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Exeter et Leeds Bradford are availlable with Flybe.
Bordeaux Airport is available through Easyjet and BA.
Libourne TGV Railway Station is less than 30km away, reachable in under three hours from Paris.

Further details indoors: The atelier is a single-storey gite, converted from an old stone barn. You will find a private car park, a private garden and 2 terraces facing south and west. The whole property has been renovated in 2007. It is electrically centrally heated. Original oak beams and pointed stone walls features throughout the living areas. Outside, you can enjoy wireless high-speed broadband internet for your laptop.
The chef-planned design kitchen has an induction hob and a convection/microwave with everything at your fingertips. The living room has comfortable armchairs, a teak coffee table and a TV cabinet. There’s an english/dutch sat TV and DVD player with surround sound. French doors are opening onto the west facing private garden. A large south facing bay window leads to the second terrace.
The first bedroom has a double bed , walk-in wardrobe, electric fireplace and exposed oak beams. The second bedroom has a double bed, pointed stone wall and exposed oak beams.
The large marble-floored bathroom features a good size glass shower stall, a separate bath, heated towel rails, a washing machine and a clothes dryer.
Further details outdoors: Enjoy the uninterrupted views over vineyards and orchards, while you have an outside diner accompanied by a nice glass of wine. Relax on the sun loungers while reading a book. The loudest thing you will hear is the chirping of the birds!

To confirm a booking a non-refundable 150 euro deposit is required. Balance is payable at arrival, combined with a refundable 150 euro breakage deposit . Toddlers are not encouraged.
